ABSTRACT
This study was conducted based on the findings of the problems associated with the mathematical skills in numeracy concepts in kindergarten Kartika IX-8, children develop optimally less marked by a lack ofability to add and subtract number sor the concept of numbers. This study aims to : 1) Determine the mastery of mathematical skills in numeracy concepts, 2) Determine the application of the traditional game "Gepuk Pole" in improving math skills in math concepts, and 3) Determine the in crease math skills in numeracy concepts after the traditional game "Gepuk Pole". This study uses a class action (PTK). Data research using research instrumen to bservation sheet. Stages of research with action Cycle I and Cycle II in 17 childrend ivided in to four teams. Pre research results Cycle math skills children before doing the traditional game "Gepuk Pole" is the undeveloped criteria (BB) and begin to grow (MB). After the traditional game "Gepuk Pole" in the first cycle there is an increase in math skills in numeracy concepts and in Cycle II, there has been in creasing very rapidly, there is noor little children who have not developed (BB) and begin to grow (MB) because the child has been developed in accor dance expectations (BSH) and so me children developed very well (BSB). This cases hows the activity game "Gepuk Pole" effectin improving math skills in numeracy concepts.
