“Kinerja operasi dan produksi Antam pada semester I 2021 mencerminkan komitmen Antam menjaga kesinambungan operasi produksi, penjualan dan pengembangan perusahaan di tengah kondisi pandemi Covid-19 melalui penerapan protokol kesehatan yang tepat dan kosisten,” ujar Yulan seperti dikutip dari keterbukaan informasi di laman perusahaan, Jumat (30/7).

Berdasarkan laporan tersebut, Antam mem-bukukan volume produksi feronikel pada Januari-Juni 2021 sebanyak 12.679 ton nikel dalam feronikel (TNi) dengan tingkat pen-jualan mencapai 12.068 TNi. Pada periode semester I 2021, volume produksi emas Antam dari tambang Pongkor di Bogor, Jawa Bart dan Cibaliung di Pandenglang, Banten sebesar 719 kg (23.116t.oz). Sedangkan volume penjualan emasnya tumbuh 69 persen menjadi 13.341 kg (428.923 t.oz) di-bandingkan dengan 7.915 kg (254.473 t.oz) semester pertama tahun lalu.

Nickel Ore

Meanwhile, Antam's nickel ore production was 5.34 million wet metric tons (wmt), up 287% year on year. Production is used as raw material for Antam's ferronickel plant and sales to domestic customers.

Nickel ore sales reached 3.66 million wmt, an increase of 21 times compared to sales in the first half of 2020 of 168,000 wmt. Bauxite production volume was recorded at 1.09 million wmt, an increase of 36 percent from the same period last year. Production is aimed at meeting the needs of alumina plant raw materials and sales to third party customers.

Bijih Nikel

Sementara itu, produksi bijih nikel Antam sebesar 5,34 juta wet metric ton (wmt), naik 287% year on year. Produksi digunakan sebagai bahan baku pabrik feronikel Antam dan penjualan kepada pelanggan domestik. Untuk penjualan bijih nikel mencapai 3,66 juta wmt meningkat 21 kali dibandingkan dengan capai penjualan semester I 2020 sebesar 168.000 wmt. Volume produksi bauksit tercatat sebesar 1,09 juta wmt me-ningkat 36 persen dari periode yang sama tahun lalu. Produksi ditujukan memenuhi kebutuhan bahan baku pabrik alumina dan penjualan kepada pelanggan pihak ketiga.

HE MOVE by the Ministry of Energy and

Mineral Resources (ESDM) to improve the governance of the mineral and coal sector (minerba) is considered to have a positive impact on related business actors.

As is known, the Director General of Mineral and Coal of the Ministry of ESDM, Ridwan Djamaluddin, said that so far his party has received reports on the origin of goods that are not clear.

"One thing we want to change is that certificates of origin of goods are no longer made unilaterally by business entities, but must be made by surveyors and known to the government," Ridwan said at the Ditjen Minerba Socialization event which was held virtual, recently.

Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) memper-baiki tata kelola sektor mineral dan batu-bara (minerba) dinilai bakal berdampak positif pada pelaku usaha terkait.

Seperti diketahui, Direktur Jenderal Mineral dan Batubara Kementerian ESDM Ridwan Djamaluddin mengungkapkan selama ini pihaknya mendapatkan laporan asal usul barang yang tidak jelas.

"Salah satu yang ingin kita ubah adalah bahwa surat keterangan asal barang tidak lagi dibuat sepihak oleh badan usaha, tapi harus oleh surveyor dan diketahui pemerintah," ujar Ridwan dalam acara Sosialisasi Ditjen Minerba yang digelar virtual, baru-baru ini.

Dalam penjelasan Ditjen Minerba, akan ada sejumlah perubahan dalam Rancangan Kepdirjen yang baru antara lain pening-katan peran surveyor hingga kewajiban tambahan bagi pelaku usaha. PT Superintending Company of Indonesia (Persero) alias Sucofindo pun menilai langkah ini berpotensi memberi dampak positif pada kinerja perusahaan.

Sementara itu, Direktur Eksekutif Asosiasi Pertambangan Batubara Indonesia (APBI) Hendra Sinadia memastikan pihaknya mendukung penuh upaya pemerintah untuk perbaikan tata kelola. Terlebih, selama ini upaya perbaikan pun dinilai telah berjalan dengan baik.

"Sejauh ini tata kelola minerba semakin membaik, antara lain dengan penertiban izin pertambangan lewat upaya koordinasi supervisi minerba yang dibantu oleh KPK," ujar Hendra.

PT Petrosea Tbk. (PTRO) recorded an increase in revenue and net profit in the first semester of 2021.

Based on the unaudited financial report as of June 30, 2021, the company's revenue increased by 9.89 percent to US$193.30 million. This value is equivalent to Rp 2.78 trillion when converted to an estimated exchange rate of Rp 14,400 per US dollar. Meanwhile, in the first semester of 2020, the company recorded revenues of US$ 175.90 million.

PTRO's largest revenue came from its mining business which generated US$ 140.37 million in the first half of this year. Whereas previously in the same period the company recorded US$104.00 million for mining business revenues.

Berdasarkan laporan keuangan per 30 Juni 2021 yang tidak diaudit, pendapatan per-seroan mengalami kenaikan pendapatan sebesar 9,89 persen menjadi US$193,30 juta. Nilai tersebut setara dengan Rp2,78 triliun jika dikonversikan dengan estimasi nilai tukar rupiah Rp14.400 per dolar AS. Sementara pada semester I/2020, perseroan mencatat-kan pendapatan sebesar US$175,90 juta. Pendapatan terbesar PTRO berasal dari bisnis penambangan yang menghasilkan US$ 140,37 juta pada semester pertama tahun ini. Sedangkan sebelumnya di periode yang sama perseroan mencatatkan US$ 104,00 juta untuk pendapatan bisnis penambangan.

Indrajaya mengungkapkan, kenaikan laba perusahaan sebagian besar dicapai melalui peningkatan kegiatan operasional di lini bisnis kontrak pertambangan, di mana total volume overburden removal meningkat 26,82 persen selama tahun berjalan atau year on year (yoy) menjadi 58,02 juta ton dan produksi batu bara meningkat 25,49 persen yoy menjadi 15,95 juta ton.

Lebih lanjut Indrajaya menyebutkan sepanjang tahun 2021, emiten ini juga melanjutkan strategi manajemen liabilitas yang efektif, di mana Petrosea mencatat penurunan hutang 22,71 persen yoy dan penurunan beban bunga 46,98 persen yoy.

company PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) posted revenues of US$414.94 million, an increase of 15.14% compared to the same period last year of US$360.37 million. Meanwhile, net profit grew by 15.14% in the first semester of 2021 to US$58.78 million from the previous US$53.12 million in the first semester of 2020. The information was conveyed by the company in a financial report published in Jakarta yesterday.

Vale Indonesia CEO and President Director Febriany Eddy said the company shipped 15,845 metric tons of nickel matte and US$208.4 million in sales in the second quarter of 2021.

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) membukukan pendapatan senilai US$414,94 juta atau naik 15,14% dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu US$360,37 juta. Adapun, laba bersih mengalami pertumbuhan 15,14% di sepanjang semester I/2021 menjadi US$ 58,78 juta dari sebelumnya US$53,12 juta pada semester I/2020. Informasi tersebut disampaikan perseroan dalam laporan keuangan yang dipublikasi di Jakarta, kemarin.

CEO dan Presiden Direktur Vale Indonesia, Febriany Eddy mengatakan, perseroan mengirimkan 15.845 metrik ton nikel matte dan penjualan sebesar US$208,4 juta pada kuartal II/2021.

second quarter of 2021 than in the first quarter of 2021, offsetting the lower average realized price in the quarter," he said.

He continued that the company also completed critical maintenance activities in the second quarter of 2021 which allowed production levels to be achieved as expected. Furthermore, INCO posted an EBITDA of US$72.3 million in the second quarter of 2021 or lower than the previous quarter of US$88.9 million. This weakening was due to higher costs and lower average realized price of nickel. Along with the decline in EBITDA, INCO's profit in the second quarter of 2021 became US$25.1 million, down from US$33.7 million in the previous quarter.

Compared to the first quarter of 2021, continued Febriany Eddy, HSFO consumption per metric ton of nickel matte increased by 22%, while coal consumption fell 12%, offsetting higher HSFO in the second quarter of 2021. "During the second quarter of 2021, both HSFO, diesel and coal prices increased by 17 percent, 17 percent and 10 percent, respectively," said Febriany Eddy.

INCO's cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2021 were recorded at US$426.5 million, up from US$386.2 million at the position of March 31, 2021. In that period, INCO issued capital expenditures of approximately US$33.3 million or lower than absorption in quarter I/2021 worth US$38.5 million.

For information, the company's nickel production in the first half fell 1% from 15,198 tons in the first quarter of 2021 to 15,058 tons of nickel in the second quarter or 20% lower than 18,701 tons in the second quarter of 2020.

“Volume penjualan sekitar 7% lebih tinggi pada kuartal II/2021 dibandingkan pada kuartal I/2021, mengimbangi harga reali-sasi rata-rata yang lebih rendah pada kuartal tersebut,” ujarnya.

Dia melanjutkan bahwa perseroan juga menyelesaikan kegiatan pemeliharaan kritikal pada kuartal II/2021 yang me-mungkinkan tingkat produksi tercapai seperti yang diharapkan. Lebih lanjut, INCO membukukan EBITDA senilai US$ 72,3 juta pada kuartal II/2021 atau lebih rendah dibandingkan kuartal sebelumnya US$88,9 juta. Pelemahan ini terjadi disebabkan oleh biaya yang lebih tinggi dan harga realisasi rata- rata nikel yang lebih rendah. Seiring dengan penurunan EBITDA, laba INCO pada kuartal II/2021 menjadi US$25,1 juta atau turun dari kuartal sebelumnya US$33,7 juta.

Dibandingkan dengan kuartal I/2021, lanjut Febriany Eddy, konsumsi HSFO per metrik ton nikel matte meningkat 22%, sementara konsumsi batu bara turun 12%, mengimbangi HSFO yang lebih tinggi pada kuartal II/2021. “Selama kuatal II/2021, baik harga HSFO, diesel, dan batu bara mengalami peningkatan masing-masing sebesar 17%, 17%, dan 10%,” kata Febriany Eddy.

managed to record a positive performance throughout the first half of 2021. UNTR posted a consolidated net income of Rp 37.3 trillion, an increase of 12% compared to the same period in 2020 of Rp 33.19 trillion.

Almost all of United Tractors' business segments posted revenue growth except the construction segment by PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST).

Launching a business development report, Friday (29/7), until June 2021, Komatsu heavy equipment sales volume was recorded at 1,361 units, up 60% from the end of June 2020 period of 853 units. The sales target of Komatsu heavy equipment this year is estimated at around 2,600 units, an increase compared to the sales figure in 2020 of 1,564 units. This means that United Tractors' sales of heavy equipment during the first six months of 2021 have reached 52.3% of the target.

mencatatkan kinerja positif sepanjang paruh pertama 2021. UNTR membukukan pendapatan bersih konsolidasian sebesar Rp 37,3 triliun, naik sebesar 12% jika di-bandingkan dengan periode yang sama tahun 2020 sebesar Rp 33,19 triliun. Hampir seluruh segmen usaha United Tractors membukukan pertumbuhan pendapatan kecuali segmen konstruksi oleh PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST).

Melansir laporan perkembangan usaha, Jumat (29/7), sampai dengan Juni 2021, volume penjualan alat berat Komatsu tercatat sebanyak 1.361 unit atau naik 60% dari periode akhir Juni 2020 sebanyak 853 unit.

Adapun target penjualan alat berat Komatsu tahun ini diperkirakan sekitar 2.600 unit, meningkat dibandingkan angka penjualan tahun 2020 sebanyak 1.564 unit. Ini berarti, penjualan alat berat United Tractors sepanjang enam bulan pertama 2021 sudah mencapai 52,3% dari target.

United Tractors Corporate Secretary, Sara K. Loebis, said that the soaring sales in June 2021 was due to the carry over effect from May, where last month there was the Eid holiday, so sales declined.

"Sales in the first half were driven by the strengthening of commodity prices, especially in mining," said Sara to Kontan.co.id, recently.

Overall, UNTR's revenue in the cons-truction machinery sector increased by 29% to Rp 9.4 trillion from Rp 7.3 trillion in 2020.

The mining contractor segment is run by PT Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama), UNTR posted a net income of Rp 15.4 trillion, up 3% compared to the same period in 2020. From an operational perspective, Pama recorded a coal production volume of 57.6 million tons as of June 2021, a slight increase from the realization of production in the same period the previous year of 56 million tons.

However, United Tractors' overburden (OB) removal production during the first half remained corrected. Pama recorded OB volume of 409.1 million bank cubic meters (bcm), a 2.99% decrease from realized OB production in the same period last year of 421 million bcm.

In the coal mining sector, which is run by PT Tuah Turangga Agung (TTA), UNTR narrowed its revenue by Rp 7.5 trillion, an increase of 23% on an annual basis. The increase in revenue was in line with the increase in sales and the increase in the average selling price of coal.

Loebis, mengatakan, melonjaknya penjualan di Juni 2021 karena adanya efek pengalihan (carry over) dari bulan Mei, dimana bulan lalu terdapat libur perayaan Lebaran sehingga penjualan menurun. “Penjualan pada semester pertama di-dorong oleh penguatan harga komoditas khususnya di pertambangan,” terang Sara kepada Kontan.co.id, baru-baru ini.

Secara keseluruhan pendapatan UNTR di bidang mesin konstruksi naik sebesar 29% menjadi Rp 9,4 triliun dari Rp 7,3 triliun pada tahun 2020.

Segmen kontraktor penambangan dijalan-kan oleh PT Pamapersada Nusantara (Pama), UNTR membukukan pendapatan bersih sebesar Rp 15,4 triliun atau naik 3% diban-dingkan periode yang sama tahun 2020. Dari sisi operasional, Pama mencatatkan volume produksi batubara sebesar 57,6 juta ton hingga Juni 2021, naik tipis dari realisasi produksi di periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya sebesar 56 juta ton. Meski demikian, produksi pengupasan lapisan penutup atau overburden (OB)

On the other hand, the volume of gold sales through the Martabe Gold Mine decreased. It was noted that gold sales during the six months amounted to 175,700 gold equivalent ounces (GEOs), down 5.3% yoy from sales in the previous year of 185,600 GEOs.

Sara said the sales volume in the six months of 2020 was higher because at that time the impact of the pandemic had only been felt since March/April. This makes sales in that period appear higher than the first half of 2021.

However, the increase in the average realized selling price for gold made the net income of the gold mining business unit up to June 2021 to increase by 7%, reaching Rp. 4.3 trillion.

In the construction segment, ACST posted a net income of Rp 636 billion, down 15% on an annual basis. ACST posted a net loss of Rp. 153 billion, a decrease compared to a net loss of Rp. 252 billion in the same period last year. This loss is due to the Covid-19 situation which has an impact on ongoing projects and reduces project opportunities.

Sara menyebut, volume penjualan di enam bulan 2020 lebih tinggi karena saat itu dampak pandemi baru terasa sejak Maret/ April. Hal ini membuat penjualan di periode itu nampak lebih tinggi dibandingkan semester pertama 2021.

Namun demikian, meningkatnya rata-rata harga jual terealisasi untuk emas membuat pendapatan bersih unit usaha pertambangan emas sampai dengan bulan Juni 2021 me-ningkat sebesar 7%, mencapai Rp4,3 triliun. Di segmen konstruksi, ACST membukukan pendapatan bersih Rp 636 miliar atau turun 15% secara tahunan. ACST membukukan rugi bersih sebesar Rp153 miliar, turun dibandingkan rugi bersih pada periode yang sama tahun lalu yang mencapai Rp 252 miliar. Kerugian ini disebabkan karena situasi Covid-19 yang berdampak pada proyek yang sedang berjalan dan mengurangi peluang proyek.

"Another mining business that we are exploring is metal or other minerals," he told Investor Daily recently.

Yulius said that the company is not only developing the upstream side of the coal business, but also participating in coal gasification projects. In addition to the downstream side development, Indo Tambang is also developing renewable energy projects.

"Renewable energy will help Indo Tambang move closer to managing emissions, while improving energy and cost management," he explained.

One of the renewable energy projects that is being worked on by Indo Tambang is the Bontang Solar Power Plant (PLTS) project. This PLTS has a power of 3 megawatts (mw) with 2 MW of storage energy that can generate around 4,050 mwh of electricity per year and reduce 3,069.84 tons of carbon dioxide gas per year or the equivalent of 167,751 trees. This PLTS guarantees a reliable energy supply for Bontang Port, which can save fuel and maintenance costs.

Furthermore, Indo Tambang also does not rule out inorganic actions to maintain coal reserves.

“Energi terbarukan akan membantu Indo Tambang untuk bergerak lebih dekat dalam mengelola emisi, sekaligus meningkatkan manajemen energi dan biaya," jelas dia. Salah satu proyek energi terbarukan yang tengah digarap Indo Tambang adalah proyek Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) Bontang. PLTS ini memiliki daya 3 megawatt (mw) dengan 2 MW energi penyimpanan yang bisa menghasilkan listrik sekitar 4.050 mwh per tahun dan mengurangi 3.069,84 ton gas karbondioksida per tahun atau setara 167.751 pohon. PLTS ini menjamin pasokan energi yang andal bagi Pelabuhan Bontang, yang dapat menghemat bahan bakar dan biaya perawatan.

Lebih lanjut, Indo Tambang juga tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk melakukan aksi anorganik untuk mempertahankan cadangan batu bara.

mining company affiliated with PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), recorded revenue during the first semester of 2021 of Rp. 4.3 trillion, up 7% compared to the same period last year (year-on-year/YoY). The increase in revenue was influenced by the increase in the company's average gold selling price.

Citing information disclosure on the United Tractors website, PTAR's gold sales at the Martabe mine in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra were recorded at 176,000 ounces, down 5% compared to the same period the previous year which was recorded at 186,000 pounds.

However, the company was helped by the increase in the average selling price of gold. The average selling price (ASP) of PTAR gold during January-June 2021 was US$1,730 per ounce, up from US$ 1,498 per ounce YoY.

Based on United Tractors data, PTAR gold sales fluctuate every quarter. In the first quarter of 2020 it was recorded at 95 thousand ounces, down to 91 thousand ounces in the second quarter of 2020. It fell again to the level of 70 thousand ounces in the third quarter of 2020 and the closing of 2020 was recorded only 64 thousand ounces.

Mengutip keterbukaan informasi di laman United Tractors, penjualan emas PTAR di tambang Martabe di Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan, Sumatera Utara tercatat 176 ribu ounces, turun 5% dibandingkan periode sama tahun sebelumnya yang tercatat 186 ribu pound.

Namun, perusahaan tertolong oleh kenaikan harga jual rata-rata emas. Harga jual rata-rata (average selling price/ASP) emas PTAR sepanjang Januari-Juni 2021 sebesar US$1.730 per ounces, naik dari US$ 1.498 per ounce YoY.

Berdasarkan data United Tractors, penjualan emas PTAR fluktuasi tiap kuartalnya. Pada kuartal I 2020 tercatat 95 ribu ounces, turunke 91 ribunces di kuartal II 2020. Turun lagi ke level 70 ribu ounces di kuartal III 2020 dan penutup 2020 tercatat hanya 64 ribu ounces.

the mining contractor business segment affiliated with PT United Tractors (UNTR), recorded a net revenue during the first semester of 2021 of Rp. 15.4 trillion, up 3% from Rp. 15.1 trillion in the same period last year (year-on-year/YoY).

The increase in revenue was supported by a 3% increase in coal production volume from 56.0 million tons to 57.6 million tons (YoY), although the volume of overburden removal decreased by 3% from 421.0 million bcm to 409.1 million bcm (YoY). Citing United Tractors' information disclosure report released last weekend, throughout 2020 PAMA recorded coal production of 114.6 million tons and overburden removal of 825 million bcm. Meanwhile, last year's revenue was recorded at Rp29.21 trillion.

The portion of revenue contribution from the mining contractor sector or PAMA to United Tractors is the highest. Next is the construction machinery segment with Komatsu products seeing Rp9.39 trillion, coal mining Rp7.49 trillion, gold mining Rp4.3 trillion, and finally the construction industry Rp636 billion. Coal Prices Rise Again, Ready to

Break the Highest Record!

OAL prices are still on an upward trend.

The price is getting closer to a new record. Last weekend, the price of coal on the ICE Newcastle (Australia) market was recorded at US$ 152.75/ton. Up 0.23% compared to the previous day.

On July 19, 2021, the price of this commodity was at US$ 153.7/ton, the highest since at least 2008. If prices continue to rise, then it is not impossible to set a new record.

The price of the black stone is in a bullish trend. In the past week, the price of coal soared 2.72% and during the past month the increase reached 16.06%.

Toby Hassall, Refinitiv Analyst, said that there are two factors that can support the increase in coal prices. One, demand is high, especially in China.

Coal prices at Qinhuangdao Port at the end of last week were at CNY 1,075/ton, up 7.5% from a week earlier. The very rapid growth in demand has not been matched by domestic coal production, so China continues to import.

Two, natural gas prices are also in an upward trend. When the price of natural gas is getting more expensive, business actors are turning their attention to coal again.

As of 26 July 2021, the cost of generating electricity using natural gas in Europe is EUR 36.95/MWh. More expensive than coal generation at EUR 36.28/MWh.

Akhir pekan lalu, harga batu bara di pasar ICE Newcastle (Australia) tercatat US$ 152,75/ton. Naik 0,23% dibandingkan hari sebelumnya.

Pada 19 Juli 2021, harga komoditas ini berada di US$ 153,7/ton, tertinggi setidak-nya sejak 2008. Jika harga naik terus, maka bukan tidak mungkin mencatat rekor terbaru. Harga si batu hitam memang sedang dalam tren bullish. Dalam sepekan terakhir, harga batu bara melonjak 2,72% dan selama sebulan ke belakang kenaikannya mencapai 16,06%.

Harga batu bara di Pelabuhan Qinhuangdao pada akhir pekan lalu berada di CNY 1.075/ ton, naik 7,5% dari sepekan sebelummya. Pertumbuhan permintaan yang sangat pesat belum diimbangi dengan produksi batu bara domestik, sehingga China terus mengimpor.

Dua, harga gas alam juga dalam tren naik. Saat harga gas alam semakin mahal, pelaku usaha kembali melirik batu bara.

Per 26 Juli 2021, biaya pembangkitan listrik berbahan bakar gas alam di Eropa adalah EUR 36,95/MWh. Lebih mahal ketimbang pembangkitan batu bara yakni EUR 36,28/MWh.

In this program, around 70 selected KSB communities attended professional training in the tourism industry as well as on-the-job training. After the program is completed, the training participants will be linked with partner companies engaged in the tourism industry, such as hotels, cafes and restaurants, travel agents and fitness centers (spa & wellness center).

Meanwhile, to improve the competence of the workforce in the midst of the current rapid digitalization era, AMMAN organized a scholarship program for computer programming language (coding) training for the younger generation in the districts of Sumbawa and West Sumbawa. AMMAN collaborates with various coding training institutions, such as Glints Academy, ImpactByte, Haktiv8, to conduct selection, intensive training, and also introductions to networks of digital companies.

Goldman recapitulates $5 a pound copper price by end of 2021

N A NEW research note, Goldman Sachs says the copper price is “poised for the next leg

higher” as short term headwinds fade and fundamentals point to a significant demand boost further out.

Goldman says the copper concentrate market remains very tight, creating a bottleneck for primary metal production in China, reinforcing its projection for a significant 430,000 tonne refined deficit in the second half of the year.

Goldman projects a 200,000 tonne deficit next year, and also halved its projected surplus for 2023 to 129,000 tonnes “after which open-ended deficits start”.

Treatment and refining charges (TC/RCs) paid by miners to smelters to process concentrate into refined metal rise when supply is ample and fall when smelters are forced to compete for scarce material.

While TC/RCs have risen to around $45 a tonne in July from historically low levels of just over $20 a tonne in April, today’s charges still compare to more than $70 a tonne in June last year and spikes as high as $130 in the 2010s.
