Under the economic aspect, PGN has taken the initiative to provide support to communities in various forms, with the aim that they can increase their productivity and achieve independence in improving their standard of living. During the reporting period, PGN has distributed IDR11,942,174,462 worth of assistance in community economic empowerment programs.
PGN also understands the importance of running programs that are sustainable and can create a lasting impact on the community. Therefore, PGN has initiated the 6 (six) Assisted Villages program, which is designed in a comprehensive manner, including the stages of stakeholder and social mapping, surveys to PGN stakeholders around the location, program planning, program implementation, program monitoring and evaluation, and program handover to community groups as an exit strategy. Pelibatan pemangku kepentingan dilaksanakan dengan merancang program-program yang sesuai dengan kondisi masyarakat setempat, dengan tetap memperhatikan kepatuhan terhadap kebijakan hak asasi manusia. Beberapa program yang telah dikembangkan meliputi (namun tidak terbatas pada):
1. Program Pemberdayaan Ekonomi masyarakat, seperti penguatan lembaga Koperasi, Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), dan pembentukan UKM khusus untuk ibu-ibu.
2. Program Kesehatan, termasuk pelatihan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) serta bantuan peralatan di Posyandu.
3. Program Pemberdayaan Lingkungan, seperti kompetisi dusun bersih dan sehat, serta peningkatan manajemen kelompok bank sampah.
4. Program Kesenian dan Kebudayaan, yang mencakup acara pergelaran seni tahunan.
5. Program Infrastruktur, termasuk renovasi sarana belajar dan pembuatan fasilitas air bersih.
Program inovasi sosial yang dijalankan oleh Stasiun Kompresor Gas Pagardewa dilaksanakan berdasarkan program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang telah dilakukan oleh Perusahaan. Program “Mas Tani Tampan” atau Mandiri Siaga, Petani Tangguh dan Mapan merupakan program yang dijalankan dalam menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Pagar Dewa. Berdasarkan hasil kontekstualisasi masalah, program Mas Tani Tampan berfokus pada penyelesaian masalah perkebunan karet yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat berupa tingginya harga pupuk yang tidak diikuti dengan harga jual yang tinggi, permasalahan kualitas bibit yang rendah, serta ketiadaan pendapatan tambahan bagi petani karet.
Selain itu, permasalahan ancaman kebakaran hutan dan lahan akibat perubahan iklim merupakan fokus dari pelaksanaan program inovasi sosial Mas Tani Tampan.
Semua program tersebut dilaksanakan di sekitar wilayah stasiun gas (Offstake Station) PGN. Melalui program ini, PGN berusaha membangun hubungan dan komunikasi yang positif dengan masyarakat di sekitar wilayah operasional. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat dukungan warga terhadap Perusahaan, mengingat Offstake Station di desa-desa tersebut memiliki peran penting dalam jaminan ketersediaan pasokan gas di wilayah yang dilayani. Stakeholder involvement is carried out by designing programs that are in accordance with the conditions of the local community, while maintaining compliance with human rights policies. Some of the programs that have been developed include (but are not limited to):
1. Community Economic Empowerment Programs, such as strengthening Cooperative institutions, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and the establishment of SMEs specifically for mothers.
2. Health programs, including Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) training and equipment assistance at Posyandu.
3. Environmental Empowerment Program, such as clean and healthy hamlet competitions, and improved management of waste bank groups.
4. Arts and Culture Program, which includes an annual art performance event.
5. Infrastructure Program, including renovation of learning facilities and construction of clean water facilities.
The social innovation program undertaken by Pagardewa Gas Compressor Station is implemented based on the community empowerment program that has been carried out by the Company. The “Mas Tani Tampan” program or Mandiri Siaga, Petani Tangguh dan Mapan is a program that is implemented in solving the problems faced by the Pagar Dewa community. Based on the results of problem contextualization, the Mas Tani Tampan program focuses on solving the problems of rubber plantations faced by the community in the form of high fertilizer prices that are not followed by high selling prices, low seed quality problems, and the absence of additional income for rubber farmers.
Besides, the problem of the threat of forest and land fires due to climate change is the focus of the implementation of the Mas Tani Tampan social innovation program.
All of these programs are implemented in the vicinity of PGN’s gas station (Offstake Station). Through this program, PGN strives to build positive relationships and communication with communities around its operational areas. This is aimed at strengthening residents’ support for the Company, given that Offstake Stations in these villages play an important role in ensuring the availability of gas supply in the areas they serve. Program Desa Binaan memiliki tujuan utama untuk mendorong kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat melalui penguatan institusi kemasyarakatan. Setiap desa yang terlibat dalam program ini didorong untuk mendirikan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dan lembaga lainnya dengan berbagai unit usaha yang berada di bawahnya.
Saat ini, PGN telah menetapkan 6 (enam) Desa Binaan sebagai bagian dari program ini. Berikut adalah lokasi Stasiun Gas yang termasuk dalam program Desa Binaan PGN:

The Desa Binaan program has the main objective of encouraging community economic independence through the strengthening of community institutions.
Each village involved in this program is encouraged to establish Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and other institutions with various business units under them. Currently, PGN has established 6 (six) Assisted Villages as part of this program. The following are the locations of Gas Stations included in the PGN Assisted Village program:
