Judul : Efek Ekstrak Air Sambiloto Sebagai Anti Hepatotoksik Terhadap Kadar Bilirubin Total dan Berat Hati pada Tikus yang Diinduksi Parasetamol dan Alkohol dan Tinjauannya Menurut Pandangan Islam
Latar Belakang : Kejadian hepatotoksisitas yang diinduksi oleh obat, senyawa kimia, virus dan penggunaan alkohol dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan hati. Ekstrak air sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata) diperkirakan memiliki aktivitas anti-inflamasi, antioksidan, dan analgesik berfungsi sebagai anti-hepatotoksik. Allah SWT juga menganjurkan kita sebagai muslim untuk memanfaatkan yang ada di bumi dengan sebaik-baiknya dan juga dianjurkan kita sebagai manusia untuk menjaga kesehatan.
Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan ekstrak air sambiloto dalam menurunkan kadar bilirubin total dan berat hati pada tikus yang diinduksi parasetamol dan alkohol dan ditinjau menurut pandangan islam
Metode : Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimental laboratorium selama 14 hari dengan subjek penelitian tikus putih jantan (Sprague-dawley) yang dibagi ke dalam 6 kelompok, yaitu normal, kontrol, PA, NAC (1mg/kgBB), ES-250mg/kgBB, ES- 500mg/kgBB. Pengambilan sampel melalui darah dan organ hati untuk melihat kadar bilirubin total dan berat hati.
Hasil : Ekstrak air sambiloto dapat menurunkan kadar bilirubin total secara signifikan (p<0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukan kadar bilirubin total pada kelompok PA yaitu, 0,2057mg/dL, meningkat 30% dibandingkan dengan kelompok normal. Kelompok NAC mengalami penurunan 16% dibandingkan dengan kelompok PA. Kelompok ES-250 dan ES-500 mengalami penurunan kadar bilirubin 26% dan 23% dibandingkan dengan kelompok PA. Pada pengukuran berat hati juga didapatkan perbaikan pada kelompok dengan pemberian ekstrak air sambiloto.
Kesimpulan : Ekstrak air sambiloto dapat menurunkan kadar bilirubin total secara signifikan dan terdapat perbaikan berat hati pada kelompok tikus yang diberikan ekstrak air sambiloto. Dalam pandangan Islam segala sesuatu yang diciptakan untuk dimanfaatkan dengan sebaik-baiknya, salah satunya tumbuhan, dan tikus sebagai hewan coba diperbolehkan.

Title : The Effect Of Sambiloto Water Extract As Anti Hepatotoxic To The Levels Of Total Bilirubin And The Weight Of The Liver On The Mice Which Are Induced With Paracetamol And Alkohol And Its Islamic View
Background : Hepatotoxicity which is inducted by drugs, chemical compounds, viruses, and alcohol consumption can cause liver damage. Sambiloto water extract (Andrographis paniculata) which has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and analgesic activity works as an anti-hepatotoxic agent. Allah SWT recommends us as a Muslim to use everything on earth wisely and take care of our health as a human being.
Purpose : This research aims to determine the ability of Sambiloto water extract to the levels of total bilirubin and the weight of the liver on the mice which are induced by paracetamol and alcohol and its Islamic views.
Methods : This research is an experimental laboratory using in vivo method with laboratory mice as the research object (Sprague-dawlay). The research was divided randomly into 6 groups, namely normal, control, PA, NAC (1mg/kgBB), ES-250mg/kgBB, ES-500mg/kgBB. Sampling through blood and liver to see total bilirubin leves and liver weight.
Results : Sambiloto water extract can significantly reduce the levels of total bilirubin (p
<0,05). The result showed the levels of total bilirubin in the PA group, 0.2057 mg/dL, an increase of 30% compared to the normal group. The NAC group had a decrease of 16%
compared to the PA group. The ES-250 and ES-500 groups decreased bilirubin levels by 26% and 23% compared to the PA group. In the measurement of the weight of the liver, an improvement was also obtained in the group by giving aerial extract.
Conclusion : Sambiloto can reduce the levels of total bilirubin significantly and there is an improvement of the weight of the liver on the mice which were given Sambiloto extract. In its Islamic view, everything on the earth was created to be used as well as possible, namely plants and mice as experimental samples are allowed.
