Article Title : Calculation of Control Rods Reactivity Worth of RSG-GAS First Core Using Deterministic and Monte Carlo Methods
Line # Editor’s Comments Author's Responses
95 It’s better to describe the details of the Batan-
3DIFF code. Yes I do agree, I already added it
There are no descriptions for Figs. 4 and 6. The reviewer recommends to change the order of
figure numbers
I already mention it in methodology 191 The reference of WIMSD-5B is necessary. Yes I do agree, I already added it 206 The reference of Batan-FUEL is necessary. Yes I do agree, I already added it 217 In Table 2, why two kinds of ‘No. of groups’ are
presented? Ok, I already removed one
280
It’s hard to understand the dimension of Z- direction. It is required to show the core geometry in XZ
I am sorry, I didn’t find it
Table 3
Control rods worth in the Experiment is negative value, on the other hand, calculated values are positive value. These results are completely wrong
Yes, it is typo. I already changed it to negative
Table 3
At least, the same nuclear data library should be used in both deterministic and MC calculation
I just want to show the reader the different nuclear data. the nuclear data for MCNP and batan-fuel are different format. Nuclear data in MCNP in-bulit but for batan-fuel we generate it. we generate cross section using ENDFVII.0 we don’t have ENDFVII.1. for diffusion code
346
This discussion is strange. When you use the newest nuclear data library, is the result always improved
Yes, actually for diffusion code but the result not only defend on nuclear data and it also the model. For MCNP model is more detail then diffusion model.
Table 4
The reviewer can’t believe that all experimental data by changing different CRs are the same value (keff=1.00008). Please check again your experimental result
I just want to say that the result of
experiment is critical condition k-eff = 1.0, I already changed it to 1.0
388 The reviewer can’t find Figs. 6a-6f, then, can’t
check the discussion for these results It is typo, I already changed it to 7a-7f 506 using deterministic and deterministic results? I mean …using deterministic and
probabilistic results. I already changed it.
Fig 8 In a few figures, the unit of differential reactivity
is different. Yes, I already changed it
Table 5
It’s better to present C/E value in this table.
Calculated results underestimate the experimental ones. What is the reason of these discrepancies?
Can you accept these discrepancies? And how do
Yes, I already added it
you improve these discrepancies?
Please polish your English yes ..I alredy did it
