Author Responses to Referee’s final comments and recommendations:
Paper with title “Bioaccumulation and retention kinetics of Cs in Milkfish Chanos chanos from Jakarta Bay” Published in Marine Pollution May 2016 was a partial discussion paper from comprehensive experiment on
137Cs fate study in marine organism. The parameter observed in the earliest paper in Marine Pollution Journal are different from the ones in the Atom Indonesia.
In details, paper in Marine pollution discussed effect of body’s weight of Chanos chanos in
137Cs accumulation, paper also discuss distribution of
137Cs in Chanos chanos organs. Paper which submitted in Atom Indonesia Journal discussed about effects of temperature and salinity as climate change consequences on bioaccumulation
137Cs by Chanos chanos. In addition paper also discussed potential impact of
137Cs on the marine ecosystem. We have put published paper in Marine Pollution Journal as reference to know that revised manuscript was not fragmented article.

1 Effects
We have edited effect become effects 1
For all text involving Chanos chanos, please use
space for the words Chanos chanos We have made changes for all text involving Chanos chanos as editor suggested
3 … in the.. (space is required) We have edited and put space between two words
14 ..for several temperature of 25oC, …
We have edited as editor suggested 14 ….g at steady state.. (what is g for? Is it typo?)
We have erased ‘g’ it is error type 14 …in whole-body of Chanoschanos, respectively. We have made change Chanoschanos
become Chanos chanos (with space) 209
Why did the CFss drop significantly at 35‰
salinity compared to that of 32‰ salinity?
We have explain in the revised paper (line 232 – 249) the reason why CFss decrease starting in salinity 32 and 35‰
280 What is high temperature? How high? High temperature on 31oC , we have mentioned in the revised paper
395
Would be nice if the authors could put the CF equations on each figure, so that the readers would clearly recognize the CFss as well as k values. Each trend is then discussible.
We have put the CF equation on each figure as editor suggested
404
Why does, unlike the other figures, figure 2(C) look more linear than exponential?
Previous study mentioned that there are two possibilities to analyze kinetics of
bioaccumulation. Weather process uptake closely linear or look likes exponential we can use different possibility
416 What are labeled as A, B, C here?
We have added A, B, C on the title of fig. 3 427 For table 2, please use x10-5 instead of E-5, etc
We have made change as editor suggested
1-431
Please have your manuscript checked for language/grammar since there are lots of grammatical errors
Revised paper has received some language edits, in addition the English has improved
Author Responses to Editor’s final coment and recommendation:
We greatly appreciate the editor’s efforts to carefully review the paper and the valuable suggestions offered. We have made all changes suggested by the editor and have performed a careful editing work as follow:
i) We have edited various grammatical errors including punctuations, many errors of spelling, typos and spaces as editor suggested.
ii) We have added more discussion especially on the effect of salinity on the bioaccumulation which missed discussed in the original paper. We did not tried experiment effect of salinity on gill structure we only concerned effect of temperature in gill structure, therefore we did not discuss the salinity. Similar with gill structure we did not observed effect of different salinity to estimate radiation dose absorbed by Chanos chanos. As mentioned in the paper we used data CF, Kd and weighing factor from ERICA default data. Real water concentration and sediment concentration was used from primary data (Suseno. H et al, 2014).
iii) We have added more discussion regarding increased CF with increased temperature and salinity.
iv)
As mentioned by editor, topic discussion paper bioaccumulation in Marine Pollution was different with the one which submitted to Atom Indonesia Journal. Each paper is a part of whole big experiment of
137Cs fate study in environmental marine organism especially Chanos chanos. Paper that we submitted into Atom Indonesia Journal discussed more about effects of salinity and temperature as a consequences of climate change. We have put earlier published paper in Marine Pollution Journal as reference as Editor suggested.
