Raja sees the basis of gender identity in the construction of cultural and social discourses, prevailing patriarchal norms, and the result of the systematic implementation and repetition of these norms by the female subject. In the novel of Khatam, the main character, by repeating the context of the lines, produces and reproduces a gender identity, it in the process of representation, and distorts it through the performance of opposing aspects. The repetition of norms by which this character is known within his counterproduction activates the hidden potential capacities hidden in the nature of the performance.

[In Persian]. The challenge of the ineffectiveness of traditional Islamic rhetoric from the perspective of modern Arab rhetoric. In the modern era, many attempts have been made to update the knowledge of rhetoric.
The modernization of rhetoric refers to a series of efforts that reexamine some or all of the issues of traditional rhetoric and make suggestions for its improvement. The discourse of the modernization of rhetoric has always been challenged by the discourse of traditional rhetoric, and the beginning of the modernization of rhetoric has been accompanied by a critique of the theoretical foundations, methodological issues, and analytical approach of traditional rhetoric. From the beginning of the call for the modernization of rhetoric to the present day, criticisms of traditional rhetoric have increased; therefore, reading the works done in the field of modern rhetoric, we encounter a considerable amount of criticism that requires independent scientific research to provide a basis for avoiding excesses in judging and evaluating the rhetorical achievements of the predecessors.
This research attempted to study and criticize the criticisms of traditional rhetoric using a descriptive-analytical method, and by studying and criticizing the critical views of the experts on the modernization of rhetoric, it reached the following results: The greatest criticism of modern scholars is the influence of rhetoric on Greek. philosophical thought and evaluation of texts. Their most important weaknesses are, in a sense, summarized in the incorrect comparison of traditional Islamic rhetoric with traditional Greek rhetoric, which have different socio-historical contexts, as well as in the incorrect comparison of rhetoric with modern critical schools, which have different approaches and practical functions.

Analysis of the concept of death in Bassam Hajar's poetry based on Peirce's semiotic model. Literary semiotics tries to discover the unknown world within the text by analyzing the linguistic semiotics and understanding the semantic connections between the words of the poem. Bassam Hajar is one of the poets of modern thought, whose death is one of the main concepts and themes of his poetry, and most of his poems are devoted to death and thinking about death.
Based on Peirce's theory, this article tries to investigate the process of making poetic symbols related to the concept of death in Bassam Hajar's poem and tells about the unrevealed messages in the deep levels of his poems. The results showed that he has used aesthetic, authorial, temporal, spatial and collocational codes to produce poetic symbols related to the concept of death. The use of explicit meanings of the words of his poem has helped the reader to carefully choose the implicit meaning that fits the concept of death from countless implicit meanings that reveal the poet's main purpose, ideology and conflicting feelings about death that are incomprehensible at first reading and uncovering the secondary layer of the text.

The dialectic of place and self, and its reflection in the structure of Al-Shattat narrative by Rafat Hamdone.
Elements of The element of place is one of the most important elements of the narrative, which has several forms. This element has a dialectic in some narratives, including the narrative of the Palestinian prisoners, and its effect on other narrative structures is clear. In narrative there is a kind of dialectic between place and self that influences the structural elements of the narrative and plays an important role in shaping the structure of the narrative.
The results of the research suggest that the description of the place in the narration of "Al-Shattat" is an expression of experiences, sufferings, problems of the narrator and the people who lived in the forced place (prison) and in open places (war) .This dialectic runs from the beginning of time to the end of the story and has created a kind of retrospective and futuristic timelessness and has influenced the personalities of the story.
