2011년 소기업 추가임시 연장법(Small Business Additional Temporary Extension Act of 2011) - 소기업법(Small Busi- ness Act, SBA; (해설) 본 법은 1953년 7월 30일 소규모 기업의 이익을 보호하고 증진하기 위하여 아이젠하워 대통령이 서 명함으로써 법률로 제정 및 공포되었다. 본 법률에 근거한 사업 중 대표적인 것이 소기업 대출사업이다) 또는 1958년 소기업 투자법[Small Business Investment Act of 1958; (해설) 본 법률에 기하여 SBA는 소기업투자회사(Small Business Invest- ment Companies, SBICs]를 설립하여 미국내 중소 벤처기업 여신 등을 지원할 수 있게 되었다)상 2011년 5월 31일까지 현 재 승인되어 있는 모든 사업 및 시범사업, 권한, 제공 등에 대한 예산승인을 동일한 조건하에서 2011년 7월 31일까지 연장하 였다. 본 법은 소기업법(Small Business Act)을 개정하여 소기업혁신리서치[Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)]

및 소기업기술이전[Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)]사업, 그리고 상업화 시범 프로그램을 회계연도 2011년도 까지 재승인하였다. 또한 본 개정에 의하여 상기 소기업혁신리서치 및 소기업기술이전 사업기금(funds)은 경쟁성과 우위점 에 기반한 선정절차에 따라 지급되게 된다.
