Summary: The article presents the identification method of emergency modes of overhead transmission line using .sensors to measure changes of electromagnetic field, which are created by the overhead line. The article also presents a method for .selection of the optimal location coordinates of .sensors. In addilion. the article proposed the design of a functional block diagram and identification algorithm of emergenc\ modes of overhead
transmission line.
