The morphological characters of a species belonging to the genus Fallopla Adans. were investigated and described by using a stereo microscope. Its scientific name was identified to be Fallopla multiflora (Thunb.) Haralds. (Vietnamese name: ha thu o do). The microcharacters of the stem, folium and powder of the aerial parts were also described.

Cay thao, leo. Than trdn, nhan, dde; than non mdu xanh, than gid han ed nda mau xanh va nda mau dd thdm. Cd dogn than moc t h i n g , cd dogn dang xodn. Than hai loi Idn d dot, cde dot cdch nhau khoang 5,0-9,0 em. Mdi dot ehi phdn 1 nhdnh vdi 2-3 la mge d dot ed phdn nhdnh.
La dan, mgc so le; cuong la nda mau xanh va nda mdu do tham, dai 1,5-4,0 em; bp ehia mdng, mdu ndu nhgt, ddi khoang 0,5-1,0 cm.
