Formerly, the fishjinders with frequency 50kHz are widely used in Vietnam fisheries Fishing grounds of the south central provinces has the Spined anchovy. The machines using 50kHz frequency are not clearly detected due to the small size of these kinds offish. To detect the small fish, one must use thefishfinders with higher frequency (200kHz). In this paper, we present method to improve the FURUNO FCV668fishfinder (a single frequency of 50kHz) into two frequencies 50/200kHzfor fishermen of Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa provinces, in order to achieve higher efficiency ofthe Spined anchovy exploitation.
