12th Annual Young Israel Camp.
One of the most important of the Cape Zionist Youth Executive's undertakings is the Camp which is held annually at the Strand Park. Throughout the year an active and energetic sub-committee spares no pains in its endeavour to make the Camp an in- structive and enjoyable fortnight for those young Zionists who attend it. In the past, campers have come from all parts of the country, and an excellent opportunity is provided for enabling Zionist youth from different centres to meet and spend an en- joyable fortnight under canvas. This year, if anything, camp will be far more success- ful than ever before, for there have been numerous innovations, e.g., electric light and telephone in camp and novel and en- joyable functions and outings. In addition.
a Jarger crowd than ever before is expected for already app] ications have been received from up-country, including centres George, Kimberley, Douglas and Van Rhynsdorp, in addition to many local members of Zionist Youth Societies. ..An interesting brochure on Camp is being issued which gives full particulars. Camp lasts from the 1st to 11th January, 1937, the fees are £2 10s.
over sixteen, and £2 under sixteen, and there are also special terms for weekly and week- end campers.

THE'. S.A. JEWISH CHRONICLE:
"Chl-Onicle" Seaside Camp.
CHILDREN CLAMOURING FOR ADMISSION.
FUNDS STlLL INADEQUATE.
The ·'Chronicle'' Seaside Camp is due to open at the Strand · on December 16th. Large numbers of children are simply clamouring to be allowed to attend, but the number of campers will depend on the con- tributions which will be received within the next week. The sum so far received is very much behind last year's total, but we are sure that it is only due to negligence that so many have not yet contributed.
Unless there is a considerable speed mg up, a large number of children will have to be refused admission owing to lack of funds.
YOU~
by omitting to send your contribution may be responsible for depriving one or more children of their holiday. So don't delayt but send in your contribution im mediately. ....·
