To solve your problem, you must be willing to solve it, and rememberNO SHORT CUTS!
Different sorts of people have different types of problems. Some problems are minor like being hungry, and some are major like being close to losing your DP. Small problems have easy solutions, and big problems have complex solutions, if you try to solve a BIG problem using an easy solution you will wind up with a packet full of problems. LIKE SERIOUSLY, WHO WANTS THAT?

Step one
Define or Identify the problem and its causes
This is the first and most important step, identify what the problem is. This raises awareness, you now know what you are dealing with.

Step two
Understand the problem
In order to design a solution for your problem, the details of the problem such as the causes should be examined.
You should also look at the problem in all aspects.

Step three
Brainstorm and compare all possible solutions THINK OUT OF THE BOX!
Brainstorm ideas beyond the obvious solution and explore new ways to solve the problem.

Step four
Select optimal solution
This is the process of eliminating certain
solutions in order to come up with the
best solution. You will use a certain
criteria for this process, you can maybe
look at the consequences of these
solutions and their conditions.

Step five
List instructions to solve the problem
You have selected your best solution in step four, now you have to create detailed steps on how you will go about implementing that solution. Your steps should be in detail and numbered in sequential order.

Step six
Evaluate your solution
After having implemented your solution you should have set a deadline for your problem to have been solved, a solution without a standard or deadline is not a solution but a discussion.
Step six is where you check if your solution has solved your problem after a certain period.
If your problem is not yet solved when your deadline comes, ask yourself WHY and review the solution.
