Pada tanggal 3 Oktober 2011 PD BPR LPK Kabupaten Garut mendapatkan izin dari Deputi Gubernur Bank Indonesia Nomor 13/7/KEP.DPG/2011 tentang Pemberian Izin Penggabungan Usaha/Merger terhadap 7 (tujuh) PD BPR LPK menjadi PD BPR LPK Garut Kota dan secara resmi mulai beroperasi pada tanggal 27 Desember 2011.
Kemudian sesuai dengan Akta Pendirian Perseroan Terbatas nomor 47 tanggal 11 Desember 2014 dihadapan Notaris Intan Rubyati Dewi, S.H., M.Kn., pada tanggal 11 Desember 2014 telah didirikan suatu Perseroan Terbatas dengan nama PT BPR Intan Jabar dan telah mendapat pengesahan dari Menteri Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia sesuai dengan

On 3 October 2011, PD BPR LPK Garut Regency obtained license from Bank Indonesia’s Deputy Governor No.13/7/KEP. DPG/2011 on the Granting of Permission for the Merger of (seven) PD BPR LPK to become PD BPR LPK Garut City and officially started its operation on 27 December 2011.
Then based on Deed of Establishment of the Limited Liability Company No.47 made before Intan Rubyati Dewi, S.H., M.Kn., Notary, on 11 December 2014, a Limited Liability Company was established under the name of PT BPR Intan Jabar and ratified by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights based on the Decision of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights
Keputusan Menteri Hukum Dan Hak Asasi Manusia Nomor AHU-39238.40.10.2014 tanggal 11 Desember 2014 Tentang Pengesahan Pendirian Badan Hukum Perseroan Terbatas PT. BPR Intan Jabar.
Selanjutnya, Pada Tanggal 22 Mei 2015 PT BPR Intan Jabar mendapatkan izin operasional dari Otoritas Jasa Keuangan berdasarkan Keputusan Kepala Regional 2 Jawa Barat Nomor Kep-21/KR.2/2015 tentang Pengalihan Izin Usaha Atas Perubahan Badan Hukum P. BPR LPK Garut Kota Kepada PT BPR Intan Jabar dan Keputusan Kepala Regional 2 Jawa Barat Nomor Kep-22/KR.2/2015 tentang Penetapan Penggunaan Izin Usaha Atas Nama PD BPR LPK Garut Kota Menjadi Izin Usaha Atas Nama PT BPR Intan Jabar dansecara resmimulai beroperasi pada Tanggal 5 Juni 2015.Kegiatan Usaha PT BPR Intan Jabar, sesuai Pasal 3 Anggaran Dasaradalah untuk menyelenggarakan usaha perbankan.
Dari segi kepemilikan saham, pada tahun 2016 komposisi kepemilikan saham PT BPR Intan Jabar adalah PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten sebesar 36.91%, Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat sebesar 31.39%, dan Pemerintah Kabupaten Garut sebesar 31.70%.

BPR LPK Garut Kota to PT BPR Intan Jabar and the Decision of the West Java Regional 2 Head No.Kep-22/KR.2/2015 on Stipulation of the Use of the Permit on Behalf of PD BPR LPK Garut Kota to Become the Business License on Behalf of PT BPR Intan Jabar and officially started its operation on 5 June 2015. The business activity of PT BPR Intan Jabar under Article 3 of Articles of Asscociation is to provide banking services.
