di rumahnya yang beralamat di Dusun Banyuwangi RT 6/ RW III, Desa Banyuwangi, Kecamatan Manyar, Gresik. Mulanya dipasar- kan ke para kerabat dan teman yang datang. Ternyata sambutan- nya bagus. Sampai akhirnya dia memberanikan diri membeli bahan sendiri ke Surabaya. Modalnya? “Saya jual cincin nikah. Saya ingat, waktu itu laku Rp 170 ribu. Uangnya langsung saya bawa ke Pasar Kapasan Surabaya untuk beli bahan,” tuturnya.

Merasa sudah mendapatkan pasar dan kondisi keuangan mulai

membaik, Musiah tidak lagi mengambil order jahitan dari luar.

Dia total merintis usaha sendiri. Sang adik, Syaiful Fuad yang

waktu itu membuka warung kopi diajak serta. Musiah menangani

produksi, sedang sang adik bertanggung jawab mencari pelang- gan dan pasar.

Berharap produknya bisa diingat pelanggan sejak awal, jilbab

buatan Musiah langsung diberi merek. Dia memilih nama depan

anak keduanya, Izza. “Izza itu kan artinya mulia. Harapan saya, mu- dah-mudahan apa yang saya kerjakan ini selalu tinggi dan mulia,”

harapnya. Lambat laun usaha rumahan ini maju pesat. Musiah

mulai mempekerjakan tetangga kanan kiri untuk meladeni order

yang kian menumpuk. Kepada mereka, Musiah juga tak segan

berbagi ilmu. Tak masalah bila ada karyawannya yang keluar karena ingin membuka usaha sendiri. Alhasil, kini di sekitar tempat tinggalnya ada puluhan usaha rumahan yang sedang tumbuh. “Rezeki Allah itu maha luas. Saya percaya, setiap kebaikan yang kita tanam pasti nantinya akan kembali pada kita, selama semua diniati dengan rasa ikhlas. Buktinya, sampai sekarang saya masih bisa berkembang. After getting her own market and her inancial conditions began to improve, Musiah no longer take sewing orders from outside. She totally builds her own business. She asked her little brother, Saiful Fuad, who run a coffee shop then, to run her busi- ness. Musiah takes care of production, Saiful handles customers and markets.

Hoping her product can be in customer’s mind from the begin- ning, Musiah immediately gives brand to all her hijab. She names after her hijab Izza as her second child’s name. “Izza means noble. I hope whatever I do in business is always noble,” she said. Gradually, this home-based business begins to thrive. Musiah started hiring her close neighbor to handles the mounting orders. To neighbors who help her, Musiah do not hesitate to share knowledge. She never complains when some of her employees resign and open their own business.

dalam menyukseskan usahanya. Pinjaman modal yang diteri- manya tahun 2006 sangat berarti, apalagi waktu itu pesanan sedang banyak-banyaknya. Tawaran kredit memang banyak, tapi rata-rata bunganya tinggi. “Awalnya juga ragu, jangan- jangan nanti urusannya sulit dan sama saja dengan yang lain,” aku perempuan kelahiran 12 Oktober 1968 ini.

Dugaanya ternyata salah. Proses menjadi mitra binaan Se- men Indonesai sangat mudah. Bahkan, manajemen perusa- haan semen milik pemerintah itu kerap jemput bola mengu- ruskan segala dokumen yang diperlukan. Pertama gabung,

Musiah mendapat pinjaman modal sebesar Rp 8 juta. Setelah

itu, terus berkembang sampai yang terakhir dapat Rp 50 juta pada 2012. Di tahun itu, Izza Collection menyabet peng- hargaan Semen Gresik UKM Award. “Kami kerap diajak ikut pameran, salah satunya Inacraft di Jakarta tahun itu juga,” kenangnya.

Berbagai pameran yang diikuti membuat pesanan makin banyak, bahkan dari Lombok dan Makassar. Mereka tertarik dengan produk Izza Collection karena modelnya beragam, di

samping harganya yang bersaing. Musiah sengaja mengam- bil laba tidak terlalu banyak, namun kualitas tetap dinomor- satukan. Saat ini, dua hari dalam sepekan (Selasa dan Jumat) dia wajib mengirim barang ke Lombok (NTB) dan Makassar

(Sulsel). Ini pula yang membuat Musiah menolak order dari

Surabaya dan sekitarnya. “Bukannya sombong, tapi tenaga- nya memang tidak mengatasi,” ungkapnya.

Kini ada 31 karyawan yang bekerja di Izza Collection de- ngan tanggung jawab masing-masing, mulai menjahit, mera-

jut dan menyulam. Namun Musiah dan Syaiful Fuad tetap

mengawasi ketat agar kualitas produknya terjaga. Berkat usaha ini keduanya bisa menambah aset pribadi. Dua buah mobil, sebidang tanah dan sebuah rumah di daerah Sidayu,

Gresik, bisa dibeli. Sedang kedua anak Musiah tengah me-

Musiah admits Semen Indonesia plays a big role in her success in business. Capital loan she received in 2006 was very signiicant, especially it was the time when she got so many orders. She also got many credit offers, but she refuse them due to high interest rates. “Originally, I also hesitant to receive loans from Semen Indonesia. I thought, it could be complicated and tantamount as others creditor,” says the woman who was born in October 12, 1968.

And, her allegation was wrong. The process of becoming trained partners of Semen Indonesia is very easy. In fact, the management of the government-owned cement company often arranges all the necessary documents.

At irst, Musiah obtained Rp 8 million capital loan. After that, the loans continue to grow until she got Rp 50 million in 2012. In that year, Izza Collection won Semen Gresik SME Award. “I am often invited to participate in exhibition, one of which was Inacraft in Jakarta that year,” she recalls.

Various exhibitions make her gets more and more orders, even from Lombok and Makassar. Consumers are interested in her product because the designs are diverse and the price is competitive. Musiah deliberately take proit not too much, however she puts quality as number 1 matter.

Currently, every Tuesday and Friday, she must send her products to Lombok in West Nusatanggara and Makassar in South Sulawesi. It makes Musiah refuse orders from Sura- baya. “I don’t have enough time and power to handle,” she said.

Now, at Izza Collection, there are 31 employees with their respective responsibilities, from sewing, knitting, embroider-

Thanks to the business, Musiah and Syaiful both can add their personal assets. Two cars, a piece of land and a house in Sidayu Gresik, can be purchased. Both of Musiah’ daughter are now studying in Malang. The irst daughter is in Brawijaya University to study International Business. The other is in State Islamic Uni- versity. “The eldest, at beginning of 2016, starts to study in New Zealand for a semester. Alhamdulillah. From this business, I can bear the entire cost of their education,” she concluded. (*)
