---untuk mengadakan Hubungan Pos dan Telekomunikasi dan Kerdja Sama timbal balik antara Pemerintah Republik Indonesia dan Pemerintah Republik Rakjat Demokrasi Korea.
Pemerintah Republik Indonesia dan Pemerintah Republik Rak-jat Demokrasi Korea ( jang selandjutnja disebut Pihak2 jang ber-setudju), dengan maksud untuk menjumbang t erhadap perkembangan hubungan ekonomis, sosial dan kebudajaan serta hubungan persaha-batan dan kerdja sama antara kedua Bangsa dengan memperkokoh dinas2 Pos dan Telekomunikasi antara kedua Negara tersebut, telah menjetudjui hal2 jang berikut
Pasal 1.
Kedua Pihak jang bersetudju akan mengadakan dinas2 Pos dan Telekomunikasi antara Republik Indonesia dan Republik
Rak-jat Demokrasi Korea baik setjara langsung ataupun dengan peran-taraan negara2 ketiga jang telah disetudjui bersama dan
mendja-,
min penerusan dari Pos dan Telekomunikasi ke negara2 ketiga. Negara2 kemana dinas2 Pos dan Telekomunikasi tersebut diterus-kan, akan disetudjui bersama setjara tersendiri.
Pasal 2.
Kedua Pihak j a ng bersetudju akan saling bekerdja sama dan saling mempertukarkan pendapat2 dan keterangan2 mengenai so' al2 jang menjangkut kepentingan bersama dan jang sangat vi-tal dalam bidang dinas2 Pos dan Telekomunikasi internasional.

2-d en pengalaman masing2 -dalam pengelolaan peker-djaan Pos -dan Telekomunikasi dan dalam perkembangan industri Pos dan Teleko-munikasi berdasarkan prinsip Berdiri Diatas Kaki Sendiri
( "Berdikari 11 ) .
Setiap pertukaran ahli2 dilaksanakan setelah diadakan persetudjuan bersama.
Pasal 4.
Demi pelaksanaan Persetudjuan ini, kedua Pihak jang ber-setudju akan berusaha agar antara Departemen Perhubungan Darat, Pos, Telekomunikasi dan Pariwisata Republik Indonesia dan Ke-menterian Pos dan Telekomunikasi Republik Rakjat Demokrasi
Korea diadakan Protokol2 mengenai dinas2 Pos dan Telekom.unikasi.
Pasal
5.
1. Persetudjuan ini berlaku sementara mulai tanggal
penanda-tanganannja.
2. Persetudjuan ini berlaku tetap setelah diadakan
pertu-karan nota2 resmi jang memberitahukan satu sarna jang lain tentang penerimaannja sesuai dengan procedur-procedur menuru.t perundang-undangan Nasional masing2.
Pasal 6.
Persetudjuan ini akan tetap berlaku selama enam bulan setelah salah satu Pihak jang bersetudju memberitahukan setjara tertulis kepada pihak jang lain tentang maksudnja untuk meng-achiri Persetudjuan ini.
Pasal 7.
Ii
3-bahasa Korea dan -bahasa Inggris, diantara mana -bahasa Ind o-nesia dan bahasa Korea dianggap sama resminja.
Dalam hal terdapat perbedaan penafsiran dari Persetu-､ｪｾ｡ｮ＠ ini, maka bahasa Inggris-lah jang menentukan.

A G R E E M E N T

on Establishing Post and Telecommunication Relations and Mutual Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Demo-cratic People's Republic of Korea.
The Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (here-after referred to as the Contracting Parties), with a view to making contribution to the development of economic, social and
cultural contacts and of the relations of friendship and coope-: ration between the two peoples by strengthening the Post and Telecommunication services between the two countries, have agreed as follows :
Article 1.
The two Contracting Parties shall establish Postal and Telecommunication services between the Republic of Indonesia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea through direct cif cuits or through the intermediary of third countries mutually agreed upon and ensure the relay of post and telecommunication to third countries.
The countries to which the Postal and Telecommunication services will be relayed will be agreed upon seperately.
Article 2.
The two Contracting Parties shall cooperate with each other and exchange views and information on questions of mutual interest and of vital importance in the field of international Postal and Telecommunication services.
Article 3.
The two Contracting Parties deem i t necessary to excha-nge experts in order to know better the achievements and expe-riences of each other in the management of Postal and munication work and in the development of Postal and Telecom-munication industries based on the principle of self-reliance.
Every exchange of experts will be executed after mutual

-Article 4.
The two Contracting Parties , with a view to executing this Agreement, will see to i t that Protocols on postal excha-nge and telecommunication services be concluded between the Department of Land Transportation, Posts, Telecommunications
and Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of
Post and Telecommunication of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Article
5.
This Agreement shall be provision ally effective from the date of signing.
This Agreement shall become effective after the exchange of official notes notifying each other of its acceptance accor-ding to the procedures prescribed by their respective natio- 1 nal legislation.
Article 6.
This Agreement shall remain in force for six months after either of the Contracting Parties has given written notice to the other of its intention to terminate it.

7.
This Agreement was done in Djakarta on August
24, 1965
in duplicate in the Indonesian, Korean, and English languages, the Indonesian and Korean texts being equally authentic.
In case there is any difference in the interpretion of this Agreement, the English original shall prevail.
