or made this as references in Hospitality Industry. The writer realized that

thisobservation report is still far from perfect, so critics and suggestions from readers

will be very useful for the writer.

BRIEF SUMMARY

The writer did observation about the work of a receptionist in Agrowisata

Salatiga on 15thDecember 2015. The writer conducted observation and interview

forgetting the data before writing the observation report.

Some of the problems faced during finishing the observation was the

limitation of time in preparing material, the form of questions was given before

observation and interview.The data obtained after interview was very helpful for the

writer due to know the work of a receptionist.The purpose of observation was to

know the real tasks of a receptionist in Agrowisata and to compare between theories

learned in college with the real working world, so that the writer will get better

understanding of being a receptionist and his/her tasks.

This report may provide benefits to the reader, especially about the duties of

reception.The author also realized thatthis observation report is still far from perfect,
