ABSTRAK
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) merupakan glycoprotein spesifik untuk
prostat namun tidak untuk kanker prostat, yang normalnya terkonsentrasi di prostat dan kadarnya sangat rendah di serum. Kadar serum PSA mengalami peningkatan pada beberapa gangguan prostat, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk diagnostik dini dan parameter berkelanjutan pada BPH dan kanker prostat. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa obesitas merupakan faktor resiko terjadinya BPH dan kanker prostat, namun penelitian terbaru menunjukkan bahwa kadar serum PSA pada pria dengan IMT normal dan rendah cenderung lebih tinggi daripada pria overweight dan obese.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi usia, IMT, dan kadar serum PSA, serta hubungan antara IMT dan kadar serum PSA pasien Poliklinik Urologi RSUP H. Adam Malik.
Penelitian ini merupakan studi cross sectional menggunakan data rekam medik pasien dengan gejala LUTS pada Poliklinik Urologi RSUP H. Adam Malik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dari Juli hingga Nopember 2014 dengan mengeksklusi pasien yang menjalani operasi prostat atau tindakan yang berhubungan dengan prostat <3 bulan, retensi urin akut, akut dan kronis prostatitis, dan kateterisasi <5 hari.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total 125 sampel dengan usia rerata 66,2 tahun, IMT rerata 23,22827 (BB berlebih), dan kadar serum PSA rerata 11,9880 ng/ml. Hasil analisis korelasi Spearman didapatkan nilai IMT berkorelasi negatif terhadap kadar serum PSA (p=0,001; r=-0,368). Dimana rerata kadar serum PSA untuk IMT kurus (mean IMT=17,209; mean PSA=33,459ng/ml; n=16) dan IMT normal (mean IMT=22,299; mean PSA=10,172ng/ml; n=72) >10ng/ml, sedangkan untuk IMT berat badan lebih (mean IMT=25,976; mean PSA=8,664ng/ml; n=11) dan obese (mean IMT=28,343; mean PSA=5,212ng/ml; n=26) <10ng/ml. Dari analisis regresi linier didapatkan sebuah persamaan, kadar serum PSA = 59,478 – 2,044(nilai IMT) + e, dimana IMT mempengaruhi 12,4% kadar serum PSA (p=0,001; R square=0,124).
Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara IMT dengan kadar serum PSA.

ABSTRACT
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) is a specific glycoprotein for prostate but not for prostate cancer, which is normally concentrated in prostate and very low in serum. Serum PSA levels increased in some prostate problems, so it can be used for early diagnostics and continuous parameters in BPH and prostate cancer. Several studies have suggested that obesity is a risk factor for BPH and prostate cancer, but recent studies have suggested that serum PSA levels at normal BMI and lower tended to be higher than the overweight and obese.
This study aimed to determine the distribution of age, BMI, and serum PSA levels, as well as the relationship between BMI and serum PSA levels in patient Polyclinic of Urology RSUP H. Adam Malik.
This study was a cross sectional study using medical records of patients with LUTS in Polyclinic of Urology RSUP H. Adam Malik. The sampling technique was total sampling from July to November 2014. Patients who have had prostate surgery or actions associated with prostate <3 months, acute urinary retention, acute and chronic prostatitis, and catheterization <5 days were excluded.
The result showed a total 125 samples with mean age was 66.2 years, mean BMI was 23.22827 (overweight), and mean serum PSA levels was 11.9880ng/ml. Spearman’s correlation analysis showed that BMI was negatively correlated with serum PSA levels (p=0.001; r=-0.368). Serum PSA levels at normal BMI (mean IMT=22.299; mean PSA=10.172ng/ml; n=72) and lower (mean IMT=17.209; mean PSA=33.459ng/ml; n=16) >10ng/ml, whereas at overweight (mean IMT=25.976; mean PSA=8.664ng/ml; n=11) and obese (mean IMT=28.343; mean PSA=5.212ng/ml; n=26) <10ng/ml. Linier regression analysis yields an equation, levels of serum PSA= 59.478 - 2.044(BMI values) + e, and IMT affects 12.4% of the serum PSA levels (p=0.001; R square=0.124).
The conclusion showed that there is a relationship between BMI and serum PSA levels.
