The objective of research was to study effect of biological fertilizer under of oil palm. The research has been conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Silau Dunia Village, District Galang Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatera from may to september 2015, The design used was a randomized block design with two factors. The first factor is a biological fertilizer (Without a biological fertilizer, Mycoriza 5 g / plant and Azotobacter 10 cc / plant), the second factor is the shade of the oil palm (open land and shade the of the oil palm). The results showed that kenaf planted under shade of oil palm significantly affected the parameters plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, fresh weight of shoot, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of shoot, root dry weight, total leaf area, the rate of plant growth, leaf area index and net assimilation rate at 4 weeks after planting, whereas treatment of biological fertilizer significant effect on root dry weight 12 week after planting and the number of leaves of plants 4 and 6 week after planting, There is no interaction between the two treatments on all parameters

KHAIRUNNISA. Analisis tumbuh kenaf dengan pemberian pupuk hayati dibawah tegakan kelapa sawit oleh CHAIRANI HANUM dan ROSITA SIPAYUNG.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan kenaf dengan pemberian pupuk hayati dibawah tegakan kelapa sawit. Penelitian dilaksanakan di PTPN III Desa Silau Dunia, Kecamatan Galang Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara pada bulan Mei sampai September 2015. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk hayati (Tanpa pupuk hayati, Mikoriza 5 g/tanaman dan Azotobacter 10 cc/tanaman), faktor kedua yaitu naungan kelapa sawit (Lahan terbuka dan dibawah naungan kelapa sawit menghasilkan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenaf yang ditanam dibawah naungan berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, bobot segar tajuk, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tajuk, bobot kering akar, total luas daun, laju pertumbuhan tanaman, indeks luas daun dan laju asimilasi bersih pada 4 MST, sedangkan perlakuan pupuk hayati berpengaruh nyata pada parameter bobot kering akar umur 12 MST dan jumlah daun tanaman umur 4 dan 6 MST, tidak ada interaksi antara kedua perlakuan terhadap semua parameter.
