ABSTRAK
Pemenuhan gizi seimbang pada masa remaja perlu diperhatikan mengingat
dalam tahap ini pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tubuh terjadi dengan pesat. Hal
ini dapat dilihat melalui pengukuran status gizi anak. Perilaku gizi yang tidak
tepat dapat berpengaruh terhadap status gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan gizi terhadap status gizi
anak di Panti Asuhan Putera Muhammadiyah Medan.
Jenis penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional
dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 35 orang. Sampel diambil dengan
menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan status gizi diukur dengan indeks IMT/U menurut
standar antropometri Kepmenkes 2010. Data dianalisis dengan SPSS 17.0 for windows.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hubungan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan
gizi terhadap status gizi menggunakan uji Fisher's Exact, diperoleh nilai p= 0,553
untuk hubungan pengetahuan terhadap status gizi, nilai p= 1,000 untuk hubungan sikap dan status gizi, dan nilai p= 0,542 untuk hubungan tindakan dengan status gizi.
Disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan signifikan pengetahuan, sikap,
dan tindakan gizi terhadap status gizi. Disarankan kepada pihak Panti Asuhan
untuk memberikan edukasi perilaku gizi yang baik. Diharapkan juga agar anak
Panti Asuhan memperhatikan pola makan dan asupan zat gizi seimbang.

ABSTRACT
Fulfillment of balanced nutrition in adolescence need to be considered since in this stage the body's growth and development occur rapidly. It can be seen through the measurement of the nutritional status of children. Behavior improper nutrition can influence the nutritional status. This study aimed to determine the relationship of knowledge, attitude, and action of nutrition on the nutritional status of children in Muhammadiyah Putera Orphanage Medan.
This research was analytic cross-sectional with a number of respondents as many as 35 people. Samples were taken using total sampling technique. Data collected by using a questionnaire and nutritional status measured BMI/U index according to anthropometric standard Kepmenkes 2010. Data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 for windows.
Based on the results of the study the correlation between knowledge, attitude, and action nutrition on nutritional status using Fisher's Exact Test, p= 0,553 values obtained for the relationship between knowledge and nutritional status, p= 1,000 for the relationship attitude and nutritional status, and the relationship action and nutritional status obtained p= 0,542.
It was concluded that there was no significant relationship knowledge, attitude, and action nutrition on nutritional status. Recommended to the orphanage to educate the behavior of good nutrition. It is also hoped that the orphanage of diet and nutrient intake balanced.
