M e t ho ds: Th e st ud y was a lab orat ory ex p erim en t al research using t h e post - t est
only con t rolled g rou p d esig n. Su b j ect s were adu lt Ascaris su um , Goeze. Th e sam p lin g t ech niqu e u sed was p u rposiv e sam plin g. Su bj ect s were divided in t o 7 g rou p s, each g rou p con sist in g of 5 worm s, rep licat ion p erform ed 4 t im es. Saline solu t ion was u sed in n egat ive con t rol g roup , p ir an t el p am oat e 5 m g / m l was u sed in p osit iv e cont rol gr ou p , wh ile t he t reat m en t g rou p u sed g uav a leaf ex t ract
concen t rat ion of 2 0% , 4 0 % , 6 0% , 8 0 % , and 1 00 % . Worm s were im m ersed in t h e t est solu t ion at 2 5 m L an d was in cub at ed at 37̊. Observ at ion s were m ad e ev ery 1 h ou r f or 7 hou rs and coun t ed t h e nu m ber of dead worm s for 7 h ou rs. Dat a were analy zed wit h Kru skal- Wallis t est , followed b y Mann Wh it n ey t est an d p rob it analy sis.
