“HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERILAKU MEROKOK DENGAN KONSETRASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEGURUAN DAN ILMU PENDIDIKAN ( FKIP) DI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MAKASSAR ANGKATAN 2012 ”

Latar Belakang : Merokok menjadi permasalahan global karena dampaknya yang lebih banyak merugikan daripada menguntungkan terutama bagi kesehatan.
Menurut data World Health Organisation (WHO) tahun 2011, Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara dengan angka prevalensi merokok tertinggi di dunia, dimana penduduk usia 10 tahun keatas yang diklasifikasikan perokok yaitu 46,8%. Di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, proporsi perokok setiap hari sebesar 22,8%. Remaja yang sudah cenderung merokok umumnya tidak dapat menahan keinginan untuk merok dan cenderung lebih sensitf terhadap efek nikotin. Remaja perokok kemudian semakin meningkatkan komsumsi rokoknya saat tubuh remaja perokok menginginkan nikotin. Seseorang yang kecanduan nikotin dapat mengalami gangguan daya tangkap yang akhirnya berpengaruh kepada konsetrasi seseorang.
Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku merokok dengan konsetrasi belajar Mahasiswa Fakultas keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan ( FKIP) di Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar Angkatan 2012.
Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study, dengan jumlah sampel 68 orang perokok aktif.. Sampel diperoleh dengan teknik Probability sampling yaitu Simple Random Sampling.
Hasil : Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu nilai P value yang mewakili konsentrasi dalam Tes Bourden wiersma yaitu kecepatan, ketelitian, dan konstansi (0.223;
0.251 & 1.000) > α = 0,05.
Kesimpulan : Dari hasil dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara perilaku merokok dengan konsentrasi belajar Mahasiswa.
Kata Kunci : Perilaku merokok dan konsentrasi belajar dengan tes Bourdon wiersma

Background : Smoking is becoming a global issue because of its impact is more detrimental than beneficial especially for health. According to WHO data 2011, Indonesia remains one of the countries with the highest prevalence of smoking in the world, where is the population aged 10 years and above who were classified as smokers as much as 46.8 %. In South Sulawesi, The proportion of daily smokers is 22,8%. Teenagers who already tend to smoke generally could not resist the urge to smoke and tend to be more sensitive to the effects of nicotine.
Teen smoker then smoking while increasing the body of teenager smokers crave nicotine. Someone who will be able to experience the nicotine addiction disorder ultimately capture powe affect one‟s concentration
Objective : To find out the relationship between the smoking behavior of students learning with a concentration of faculty of teacher training and educational sciences at the the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar the 2012 Method : This research uses a cross sectional study design, with the number of samples of active smokers 68 people. The sample obtained with a non probability sampling techniques are simple random sampling
Result : The results are obtained, namely p value which represents a concentration of study in the Bourdon wiersma test which are speed, precision and constansi (0.223; 0.251 & 1.000) > α = 0,05.
Conclusion : From the result you can conclude that there is no relationship between the smoking behavior of students learning with concentration
