Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tingkat tanggung jawab dari mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma. Pertanyaan yang dijawab adalah (1) Seberapa tinggi tingkat tanggung jawab dari mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma ? (2) Topik-topik mana yang relevan untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab dari mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma ?
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma yang berjumlah 77 orang.
Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian populasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tanggung jawab yang disusun oleh penulis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menentukan skor dan kategorisasi skor. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan reliabilitas sebesar 0,976; hasil ini termasuk sangat tinggi, sehingga kuesioner ini reliabel atau dapat dipercaya.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada 11 (18,33%) mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma yang tergolong sangat tinggi tanggung jawabnya, ada 17 (28,33%) mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma memiliki tanggung jawab yang tergolong tinggi, ada 19 (31,67%) mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma memiliki tanggung jawab yang tergolong cukup tinggi, ada 13 (21,67%) mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma memiliki tanggung jawab yang tergolong kurang tinggi. Tidak ada mahasiswa yang tergolong sangat tidak tinggi tanggung jawabnya. Karena tanggung jawab yang cukup tinggi peneliti tafsirkan sebagai kurang tinggi (karena yang ideal adalah tinggi atau sangat tinggi) maka ada 32 (53,34%) mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma yang kurang tinggi tanggung jawabnya.
Jadi kebanyakan mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2014 Universitas Sanata Dharma masih kurang tinggi tanggung jawabnya.

This research aims to obtain A description of the sense of responsibility among the Guidance and Counseling students Batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University. The research questions are (1) How much is the level of responsibility among the Guidance and Counseling students of Sanata Dharma University? (2) Which topics are relevant to increase the level of responsibility among the Guidance and Counseling students batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University?
The type of research being used is descriptive research with a survey method.
The subject of the research was seventy-seven students of Guidance and Counseling Program Batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University. The research is categorized as a population research. The instrument being used is questionnaire about responsibility which was designed by the researcher. The technique of data analysis being used is score classification and score categorization. The result of reliability test shows that the score of 0.976; this result is very high so that the questionnaire is reliable or trustworthy.
The result of the research shows that there are eleven students (18.33%) of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program Batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University who are categorized as having very high level of responsibility, there are seventeen students (28.33%) of the Guidance and Counseling Program batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University who are categorized as having high level of responsibility, there are nineteen students (31.67%) of the Guidance and Counseling Program batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University who are categorized as having high enough level of responsibility, there are thirteen students (21.67%) of the Guidance and Counseling Program batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University who are categorized as not having a high level of responsibility. There is no student that is categorized as having not very high level of responsibility. Since the high enough responsibility is interpreted as not high responsibility (high and very high being the ideal ones) by the researcher thus there are thirty-two students (53.34%) of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University who are categorized as not having a high level of responsibility. Thus, most of the students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program batch 2014 of Sanata Dharma University do not have a high level of responsibility.
