The aim ofthis study wasto compare the effectof 8 weeksPilatesexercisesonolderwomen's physicalself- concept Is. Research Methodology, Quasi-experimental research design was the pretest and post test was carried outin this field. The sampleconsisted of40healthywomenaged60 to75years oldWhovoluntarily andpurposefully selectedanddividedinto two groups:control and experimental20(Pilatesexercises) were divided. Dataincluded25femaleselfBeck(1992) consists offivesubscalesmental ability, Jobperformance, Physicalattractiveness, Social skillsand diagnosticsandfaithinthe24hours before and24hours afterThe end of theexercise, Thesubject. Subjectsinthe experimental group, For eightweeks (3sessions ofonehour per week)under the supervision ofexperttrainersPilates, toexercisetheirchoice. The controlgroupdid not performany activity. 24 hours before and24 hours after theend of the training, thephysical self-concept questionnaireSubject. After ensuring thatthe normal distribution Kolmogorov-Smirnov testdata, ANOVA statistical testssuch ascompound(3 × 2)withrepeated measuresonthe time factor, t affiliatedto compare theoperatingGroupTukey testto determinethedifferencesbetween groupsin thepre andpost-testwas used.
The resultsshowed thateight weeks oftraining,Pilatesonphysicalself-conceptfactorsaffectolder womenIs significant(0001/0 ≥P). But theeffects of two types ofPilateson thecomponents ofphysicalself-concept, there is no significant difference betweenolder women(0001 / 0≤ P). According to themodelresultscan be botha trainingmethodto improvephysicalself-concept ofolder womenis recommended.
