ABSTRACT:

This study examines the impact of transport capital investment on economic growth, including spatial spillover effects in the Red River Delta. The study's results reveal that the hansporl capital investmeni directly and indu-ectly support the GDP growth. The aggregate impact to GDP factor is the largest thanks to a very high elasticity coefficient of the spillover effect. In addition, the study's results show that the openness of access to land, transparency and market entry costs in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) aic statistically significant and positively impact on economic growth.
