Nghien ciru kha nang chiu han ciia co Paspalum len su sinh trudng, nang suai va thay doi sinh ly sau khi hen hanh cac khoang thdi gian xir ly han nhan tao khac nhau nham rim ra d u p c khoang thdi gian gay han ma cd van con kha nang hoi phyc sau khi tudi tro lai- Thi nghiem d u p c bd'tri hoan loan ngau nhien gom 4 nghiem thiic (NT) va 8 lan lap lai tucmg iing vdi 8 chau, Cac NT la: NT doi chung (PO); NT co khong d u p c tudi nudc trong 5 ngay (P5), 10 ngay (PIO) va 15 ngay (P15), CO dupc trong bang hom sau 30 ngay se rie'n hanh xir Iy ban va thu hoach d 60 ngay sau khi yong. Nhimg chi rieu a i a thi nghipm la sdchdi, chieu cao cay, so la, rpng va dai la, trpng lupng va dai re, nSng sua't, ham lupng chlorophyll, proline va nitrate. Kel qua thi nghiem cho thay so choi, so la, rpng va dai la, trpng lupng va dai re khac biet khong cd y nghia thong ke giua cac nghi&m thlic (P>0,05), Ngupc lgi khi keo dai thdi gian chiu han co co khuynh h u d n g giam chieu cao cay, dgc bi^t giQa NTPO va NTP5 so vdi NTPIO va NTP15. T u o n g ty, nang suat xanh, nang sua't kho va nSng suat protein tho cua co cung giam dan khi keo dai thdi gian chiu ban, trong dd NTP15 a i a co cd n5ng sua't tha'p nhat. Ham lirpng chlorophyll A, B va A+B khong chiu su tac dpng cua hgn, tuy nhien khi co bi han keo dai hiun lupng proline va nitrate se tang dan. Co Paspalum co kha nang sinh tnrdng, phat trien va cho nang sua't kha tot khi gap dieu kien han trong 5 ngay nhimg giam nang sua't va chat lupng khi thdi gian xir ly ban 15 ngay.

ABSTRACT

The effects of drought time interval of Paspalum Atratum grass on growth characteristics, biomass and physiological changes u n d e r greenhouse condition

To evaluate drought tolerance of Paspalum grass on growth characterisrics, biomass physiological changes was conducted at Experimental farm. College of Rural Development, Cantho University, The experiment was arranged completely randomize design with four treatments and eight replicates in corresponding to eight buckets. The treatments from this study were control (PO), without watering for 5 days (P5), 10 days (PIO) and 15 days (P15), 30 days after planting grass began to process in drought condirion depending on different treatments and harvested at 60 days. Parameters were rillering number, leaf number, leaf length and wildth, root weight and length, biomass, chlorophyll, proline and nitrate contents. The results show that rillering number, leaf number, leaf length and wildth, root weight and length were not significanOy different among treatments (P>0.05). In contrast when drought rime inter\'als were longer, the grass decreased plant height parricularly between PO and P5 compared to PIO and P15. Similarly green, dry and crude protein biomass also decreased as increasing drought rime intervals and P15 treatment was lowest biomass in compare to other treatments. Chlorophyll A, B, A+B were not affected by drought condition whereas Paspalum grass was higher proline and nitrate contents as increasing drought time intervals. In conclusion Paspalum grass can be tolerant with drought condition within 5 days, but biomass and quahty decreased when grass is without watering for 15 days-

H. KET LUAN

Nghien cuu njv nhSm so sanh kha nang sinh trudng va nang suat ciia ciia hai loai_c6 Paspalum atratum va co S.i trong dieu kien hgn nhan tao. Thi nghi&m d u p c bo y i hoan toan ngau nhien voi hai nhan to: Nhan to 1: cd Paspalum (Pa) va cd Sa (Sa); nhan to 2: dieu kien han (co d u p c tudi nude, HO hoiSc khdng dupc tudi nudc trong 5 n g a y H5), lap lgi 10 lan. Co d u p c trong bSng hom sau 30 ngay se rien hanh \ u ly hgn v,i thu hoach 6 60 ngay sau khi frong. Nhiing chi rieu cua thi nghi&m la so choi, chieu cao cay, so la, rpng va dai la, trpng lupng va dal re, nang sua't, thimh phan hda hpe eiia CO thi nghi&m. Kei qua thi nghipm cho thay so choi, so la, rpng va dai la, khdi lupng va dal re, thanh phan hoa hpc khong chju sir anh hudng tu'ong tac cua han va gid'ng co (P>0,05). Kha nang sinh trudng, nang suat va ham lupng xo (ADF va NDF) ciia co Sa cao h o n so vdi cd Paspalum, Them vao do, han khong anh hudng den chieu cao, sola, rpng la, dai la va thanh p h a n hda hpc ciia hai Ioai co. Tuy nhien, han da lam giam s u phat tricn so choi va re ciia cay, dan de'n nang sua't ciia hai logi cd tha'p hem (P<0,05). Ket qua a i a thi nghiem cho tha'y trong dieu kien d u n u d c tudi cd Sa CO klia nang sinh trudng va nang suat cao hem co Paspalum, tuy nhien khi cd bi thieu n u o c trong 5 ngay thi kha nang sinh trucmg, nang suat cua hai lo^i co n h u nhau.

A study aims to compare the growth characterisrics and yield of Paspalum atratum and inontbasa grass (Pamcum maximum c\'. Mombasa) under drought conditions.
