Berdasarkan ketentuan pasal 3 Anggaran Dasar PMS, maksud dan tujuan PMS adalah melakukan usaha di bidang pelayanan jasa perkapalan terhadap para pengguna jasa kemaritiman, baik nasional maupun internasional, dengan memberikan pelayanan
prima yang mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate
Governance dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip perseroan terbatas. Untuk mencapai maksud dan tujuan tersebut di atas, PMS dapat melaksanakan kegiatan usaha utama sebagai berikut:
a. Jasa angkutan di perairan;
b. Penyediaan fasilitas dan/atau pelayanan jasa pemanduan dan/atau jasa penundaan kapal;
c. Penyediaan fasilitas dan/atau pelayanan jasa mendorong dan/atau menarik kapal;
d. Penyediaan fasilitas dan/atau pelayanan jasa berbagai jenis kapal dan tongkang untuk kegiatan spesifik;
e. Penyediaan fasilitas dan/atau pelayanan jasa galangan untuk pemeliharaan dan/atau perbaikan kapal;
f. Penyediaan fasilitas dan/atau pelayanan jasa pemenuhan kebutuhan logistik kapal dan/atau kru kapal;
g. Penyediaan kru kapal;
h. Penyediaan fasilitas dan/atau pelayanan lainnya yang
berhubungan dengan pengelolaan dan pengoperasian kapal. Selain kegiatan utama tersebut di atas, PMS dapat melakukan kegiatan usaha lain yang menunjang tercapainya tujuan PMS, antara lain:
a. Penyediaan pengelolaan jasa konsultasi, surveyor dan
pendidikan dan pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan manajemen operasi perkapalan;
b. Penyediaan peralatan dan/atau perawatan peralatan di bidang perkapalan;
c. Jasa penyelamatan dan penyelaman (salvage).
aktivitas usaha PT Pelindo Marine Service Tahun 2017 Selain membentuk unis bisnis baru, di awal tahun 2017 PT PMS juga melakukan akuisisi Anak Perusahaan baru yaitu PT Berkah Multi Cargo Logistic (BMC). Anak Perusahaan ke-3 PT PMS ini bergerak di bidang penyedia layanan jasa moda transportasi darat, laut dan udara. Selain itu PT BMC juga menyediakan jasa
close storage dan yard storage, konsolidasi muatan, penyedia ruang muatan terutama jasa transportasi laut, kepabeanan untuk angkutan multimoda keluar dan dalam negeri serta
menyediakan jasa custom clearance handling untuk kegiatan
eksport dan import.
Saat ini di usia menginjak tahun ke-6, untuk meningkatkan dan percepatan pelayanan pada customer, PT PMS sendiri menambah 8 unit kapal tunda berdaya 3600 HP dan 4800 HP untuk dioperasikan di wilayah SBPP. Tidak sampai disitu, 2 Anak Perusahaan PT PMS yaitu PT APBS (pengelolaan alur pelayaran barat Surabaya) dan PT PE Logistik (distribusi gas dan minyak) turut memberikan andil besar terhadap induk untuk dapat mencapai target taksasi tahun 2017 melalui masing-masing bidang usahanya.
Based on the provisions of article 3 of the Articles of Association of PMS, the purpose and objective of PMS is to conduct business in the field of shipping services to maritime service users, both nationally and internationally, by providing prime services that prioritize the principles of Good Corporate Governance and apply the principles of limited liability company.
To achieve the aforementioned purposes and objectives, PMS may carry out the following main business activities:
a. Transportation services in the waters;
b. Provision of facilities and/or pilotage service and/or delay
service;
c. Provision of facilities and/or services to push and/or pull
vessels;
d. Provision of facilities and/or services of various types of ships and barges for specific activities;
e. Provision of facilities and/or shipyard services for ship maintenance and/or repair;
f. Provision of facilities and/or services to meet the logistics requirements of ship and/or ship crew;
g. Provision of ship crew;
h. Provision of facilities and/or other services related to the management and operation of the vessel.
In addition to the main activities mentioned above, PMS may conduct other business activities that support the achievement of PMS objectives, among others:
a. Provision of management consulting services, surveyors and education and training related to the management of shipping operations;
b. Provision of equipment and/or maintenance of equipment in the field of shipping;
c. Rescue and diving services (salvage).
Business activities of PT Pelindo Marine Service in 2017 In addition to forming a new business unit, in early 2017, PT PMS also acquired a new subsidiary, namely PT Berkah Multi Cargo Logistic (BMC). The third subsidiary of PT PMS is engaged in the provider of land, sea and air transportation modes. In addition, PT BMC also provides close storage and yard storage services, cargo consolidation, cargo space providers, especially sea transport services, customs for international and domestic multimodal transport as well as providing custom clearance handling services for export and import activities.
Entering its 6th year of operations, in order to increase and
accelerate customer service, PT PMS itself added 8 units of
tugboats with 3600 HP and 4800 HP capacities to operate in SBPP area. Moreover, 2 subsidiaries of PT PMS, namely PT APBS (management of west shipping channel of Surabaya) and PT PE Logistics (gas and oil distribution) contributed greatly to the parent entity in order to achieve the 2017 taxation target through each of its business fields.

Pada tahun 2017, PT PMS secara stand alone mencatatkan Pendapatan Usaha sebesar Rp489,9 miliar, naik Rp139.71 miliar atau 40% bila dibandingkan dengan tahun 2016 sebesar Rp350,19 miliar. Peningkatan pada Pendapatan tersebut menyebabkan Laba Bersih PT PMS pada tahun 2017 meningkat sebesar Rp8.51 miliar, menjadi Rp18,22 miliar bila dibandingkan dengan tahun 2016 sebesar Rp 9,71 miliar. Perubahan pada Laba Bersih terutama disebabkan oleh kenaikan pendapatan logistik, distribusi & terminal energi barang pertambangan, minyak bumi dan gas sebesar Rp566,33 miliar pelayanan jasa SBPP sebesar Rp402,79 miliar, pengelolaan alur sebesar Rp147,16 dan jasa pelayanan penundaan sebesar Rp49,32 miliar.
PT PMS secara konsolidasi mencatat Pendapatan Usaha sebesar Rp1.179,17 miliar pada tahun 2017, meningkat sebesar 22,28% dari tahun 2016 dengan pendapatan terbesar berasal dari jasa pelayanan kebutuhan perbekalan yang merupakan kontribusi pendapatan pelayanan logistik, distribusi dan terminal energi dari PT Pelindo Energi Logistik. Tahun 2017 PT PMS mencatat laba bersih sebesar Rp163,2 miliar.
Sedangkan Jumlah Aset PT PMS tahun 2017 tercatat sebesar Rp1.325,78 miliar, Jumlah Liabilitas sebesar Rp763,60 miliar dan Jumlah Ekuitas sebesar Rp562,18 miliar. Perubahan terbesar dapat dilihat dari Jumlah Aset pada tahun 2017 disebabkan oleh kenaikan piutang usaha, bantuan likuiditas dari pemegang saham dan peningkatan laba perusahaan.

Jumlah Dividen yang diperoleh Perseroan dari PT PMS pada tahun 2017 tercatat sebesar Rp 29,03 miliar atau 29,37% dari jumlah Laba Bersih PT PMS tahun 2017. Jumlah tersebut mengalami peningkatan sebesar 296,31% bila dibandingkan dengan Dividen tahun 2016. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh kenaikan Laba Bersih
serta keputusan pemegang saham untuk meningkatkan payout
ratio di tahun 2017.
Performance of Pelindo Marine Service in 2017
In 2017, PT PMS recorded a stand-alone revenue of Rp489.9
billion, rose by Rp139.71 billion or 40% compared to 2016 of Rp350.19 billion. The Increase in Revenue caused Net Profit of PT PMS in 2017 to increase by Rp8.51 billion to Rp18.22 billion compared to Rp9.71 billion recorded in 2016. Changes in Net Profit were primarily due to an increase in logistics, distribution
and terminal of mining goods energy, petroleum and gas at the
amount of Rp566.33 billion of SBPP service of Rp402.79 billion, navigation management of Rp147.16 billion and tugboat service of Rp49.32 billion.
On a consolidated basis, PT PMS recorded Revenue of Rp1,179.17 billion in 2017, an increase of 22.28% from 2016
with the largest revenue coming from supplies service provision
which was the revenue contribution of logistics, distribution and terminal of energy from PT Pelindo Energi Logistics. In 2017, PT PMS recorded net profit of Rp163.2 billion.
Meanwhile, Total Assets of PT PMS in 2017 was recorded at
Rp1,325.78 billion, Total Liabilities of Rp763.60 billion and Total Equity of Rp562.18 billion. The greatest change can be seen from Total Assets in 2017 due to an increase in trade receivables, liquidity support from shareholders and an increase in profit of
the Company.
Dividends Provided
Dividends earned by the Company from PT PMS in 2017 amounted to Rp29.03 billion or 29.37% of the total net income of PT PMS in 2017. This dividend increased by 296.31% compared to dividends in 2016. This was due to the increase in Net Profit as well as decision of the shareholders to increase payout ratio
