ABSTRACT
Economic Growth is an interesting topic in economy. We may state that
economic
l
rowth is the heart of economy because it
determines
the result of
development of economy that
can
be seen by number. It is defined in some
terms
to explan the me, ning, such as increase in output per head, increase in
consumption per head, increase in personal welfare, change in economic strucuuc,
etc.
We can say that
rhe
development of economy in a country or a region is
success if the economic gl'Owth higher and higher, and to the contrast, if the
economic growth lower and lower it means that the development of the economy
no success.
ｾ ｨ･ ｲare many factors which are involved to process of resulting

ｾcomputation used in this research is SPSS pogrom, which the data
are taken from the monthly and annual report of Bank of Indonesia and Statictical
Bureau Center by period 1994 - 2005.
There are four variables in this research, they are credit realization (XI),
interest ratc(X2) and inflatior. rate (x3) and the economic growth in North
Snmatera (Y). The X I, X2, X3 arc the independent variables and Y is the
dependent variable. The result of this research shows that the three independent
variables ar : irulueucmg the economic growth significantly but not partially.
Credt realizetion has a positive influence on economic growth.
It
means that the
more credit realization, the higher the economic growth.
