THE STIPULATION OF APPROVED EXPORTERS OF TEXTILE AND CLOTH BEING SMALL-SCALE BUSINESS AND COOPRATIVES (ETTPT-PKK) TO OBTAIN GROWTH QUOTAS (KPt) OF TEXTILE AND CLOTH FOR THE QUOTA YEAR OF 2001
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
Considering :
a. that since the export of textile and clothing (TPT) to destination countries of the United States, European Union, Canada and Turkey for the quota year of 2001 starts, it is necessary to stipulate approved exporters of textile and cloth being small-scale business and cooperatives (ETTPT-PKK) eligible to obtain the Growth Quotas (KPt) of textile and cloth for the quota year of 2001;
b. that in relation thereto, it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade;
In view of :
1. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 382/MPP/Kep/9/2000 on the team for the assessment of feasibility of small-scale businesses and cooperatives to obtain growth quotas of textile and cloth in 2001; 2. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 02/MPP/Kep/1/2001 concerning the provisions on quotas
of textile and cloth;

THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON THE STIPULATION OF APPROVED EXPORTERS OF TEXTILE AND CLOTH BEING SMALL-SCALE BUSINESSES AND COOPERATIVES (ETTPT-PKK) TO OBTAIN GROWTH QUOTAS (KPt) OF TEXTILE AND CLOTH FOR THE QUOTA YEAR OF 2001.
Article 1
Referred to the approved exporters of textile and cloth being small-scale business and cooperatives (ETTPT-PKK) shall be those mentioned in Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 02/MPP/Kep/1/2001.
Article 2
Growth quotas (KPt) for ETTPT-PKK shall come from the growth rate of base-level quotas and be set at 6% of the base level quotas maximally.
Article 3
(1) The quantity of KPt acquired by ETTPT-PKK that fulfill the requirements shall be calculated on a pro rata basis in accordance with the following provision :
Total quantity of KPt available
(2) ETTPT-PKK obtaining Growth Quotas (KPt) in 2001 shall be as mentioned in the attachment to this decree. (3) The KPt as meant in paragraph (2) shall be valid from the date of stipulation of this decree up to November
15, 2001.
Article 4
(1) Growth Quotas (KPt) shall have their export realized in accordance with categories of quotas which are obtained/owned.
(2) ETTPT-PKK unable to realize their export quotas can promote the partnership as meant in Article 10 of the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 02/MPP/Kep/I/2001.
Article 5
The team for the assessment of feasibility of small-scale businesses and cooperatives shall monitor the realization of the growth quotas (KPt).
Article 6
The Director General of Foreign Trade shall further stipulate technical directives for this decree after coordinating with the Director General of Small- and Medium-scale Industry and Trade as the Chairman of the team for the assessment of feasibility of small-scale businesses and cooperatives to obtain Growth Quotas (KPt) in the quota year of 2001.
Article 7
This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
