AMENDMENT TO THE ATTACHMENT TO THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 182/MPP/Kep/9/1998
ON GENERAL PROVISIONS IN THE EXPORT SECTOR
(Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 442/MPP/Kep/9/1998 dated September 25, 1998)
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE
Considering :
a. that with a view to increasing foreign exchange and ensuring the smooth export
of crocodile and alligator skins in wet blue form, it is deemed necessary to
amend the attachment to the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No.
182/MPP/Kep/4/1998;
b. that for this purpose it is necessary to issue a decree of the Minister of Industry
and Trade.
In view of :
1. Presidential Decree No. 61/1998 on the status, tasks, organisational structures
and operational procedures of ministries;
2. Presidential Decree No. 122/M/1998 on the establishment of the Development
Reforms cabinet;
3. The Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 182/MPP/Kep/4/1998 on
general provision in the export sector.

182/MPP/Kep/4/1998 ON GENERAL PROVISIONS IN THE EXPORT SECTOR
Article 1
1. To amend the attachment to the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade
No. 182/MPP/Kep/4/1998 involving the type of goods as referred to in figure
III No. 3 viz, Raw skins, pickled and wet blue, of reptiles, tariff heading
No. 41034.20.000, by excluding crocodile and alligator skins in wet blue form
the list of goods subject to export bans and including them in the list of goods
subject to export control.
2. With the stipulation of this decree, all the other provisions contained in the
Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 182/MPP/Kep/4/1998 shall
remain valid.
Article 2
This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be announced by publishing it in the State
Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
