NUMBER 37/MPP/Kep/1/2004 DATED JANUARY 29, 2004 REGARDING
ESTABLISHMENT OF MONITORING TEAM FOR DOMESTIC RICE STOCK AND PRICE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE OF ROI Considering:
a. that in an effort to secure availability of rice pertaining to the issuance of rice import regulation as set forth in Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 9/MPP/Kep/1/2004, it is deemed necessary to monitor domestic rice stock and price accordingly;
b. that therefore, it is deemed necessary to issue a Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade regarding establishment of a team to monitor domestic rice stock and Price.
In View of:
1. Presidential Decree of ROI Number 228/M Year 2001 regarding the Gotong Royong Cabinet Formation;
2. Presidential Decree of ROI Number 102 Year 2001 regarding Position, Duty, Function, Authority, Composition of Organization and Work Procedure of Ministry;
3. Presidential Decree of ROI Number 109 Year 2001 regarding Organization Unit and Duty of Echelon I of Ministry;
4. Presidential Decree of ROI Number 42 Year 2002 regarding National Budget Implementation Guidelines;
5. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 regarding commodities whose trade is governed by special regulation as amended with Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 417/MPP/Kep/6/2003. 6. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number

DECIDE:
Stipulate: FIRST:
Establish Monitoring Team for Domestic Rice Stock and Price, hereinafter referred to as Rice Monitoring Team, consisting of Adviser and Monitoring Team under membership composition set forth in the Appendix herein.
SECOND:
Rice Monitoring Team has task: a. Adviser:
Provide guidelines on any matters need to be performed by Monitoring Team in the pursuance of its duty.
b. Monitoring Team:
1. Monitor rice stock and price at regions;
2. Draw rice distribution map in the framework of securing the availability of rice at regions.
THIRD :
Chairman of Monitoring Team shall be obliged to report any of its duty performance upshot as set forth in the SECOND Dictum letter b to Minister of Industry and Trade and Minister of Agriculture at the last business day every week.
FOURTH:
For the continuity of work performance:
a. Chairman of Monitoring Team may establish an Organizing Committee;
FIFTH :
Any cost arising from operational activities of Rice Monitoring Team shall be burdened to their respective agency budget.
SIXTH:
This decree shall be effective as of it is stipulated. Stipulated in Jakarta
