Banyak hal telah dicapai oleh Bank Jabar Banten dalam

beberapa tahun terakhir ini, dalam perjalanannya

mencapai visi sebagai ‘10 bank terbesar dan berkinerja

baik di Indonesia’. Di tahun 2009, langkah-langkah ini

membuahkan perubahan dan perbaikan yang signifikan

pada berbagai aspek keberadaan Bank – bagaimana Bank

memposisikan diri di pasarnya, membangun citra positif di

kalangan stakeholder, dan mempersiapkan infrastruktur

bagi pertumbuhan lebih lanjut. Di akhir tahun, Bank Jabar

Banten berada pada posisi strategis untuk melangkah maju

ke tataran pertumbuhan yang lebih tinggi.

Memperluas Jangkauan

Pada tahun 2009, Bank Jabar Banten terus memperluas jangkauan dengan membuka

kantor-kantor cabang dan

outlet

pelayanan baru, baik untuk memperkuat keberadaannya

di sentra-sentra pertumbuhan ekonomi yang telah ada, maupun untuk menangkap

peluang di area-area pertumbuhan baru, termasuk di luar propinsi Jawa Barat dan Banten.

Pada saat yang sama, jalur-jalur distribusi juga terus diperkuat antara lain melalui perluasan

jaringan ATM.

In 2009, Bank Jabar Banten continued to extend its reach by opening new branch offices and service outlets, both

to strengthen its existence in established centers of economic growth, as well as to capture business opportunities

in untapped areas of growth, including those outside the provinces of West Java and Banten. At the same time, the

Bank also continue to expand its distribution channels, including through the expansion of its ATM network.

PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten known as Bank Jabar Banten is jointly owned by the Provincial Government of West Java, Banten and other city administrations/regencies throughout West Java and Banten provinces. Bank Jabar Banten was originated from NV DENIS (De Indische Erste Nederlansche shareholding) in Bandung and was one of the Dutch-owned companies engaged in mortgages and was nationalized under government regulation No. 33 in 1960 on the status of former Dutch companies in Indonesia.

Following this regulation, PT Bank Karya Pembangunan was established by the provincial government of West Java with authorized capital of Rp 2,500,000, under notary deed of Noezar number 152 dated March 21st, 1961 and No. 184 dated May 13th, 1961 and was further ratified by West Java governor the decree (SK) number 7/GKDH/BPD/61 dated May 20 th, 1961. To strengthen the legal base of Bank Karya Pembangunan Daerah Jabar, a decree of Perda West Java Province, number 11/PD-DPRD/72 dated: June 27 th, 1972, was issued regarding the legal status of Bank Karya Pembangunan Daerah Jabar as a provincially owned bank (PD). Further, under the West Java province decree number 1/DP-040/ PD/1978 dated June 27 th, 1978; PD Bank Karya Pembangunan Daerah Jabar was renamed BPD Jabar.

April฀1999฀berikut฀Akta฀Perbaikan฀Nomor฀8฀Tanggal฀15฀April฀1999฀yang฀ telah฀disahkan฀oleh฀Menteri฀Kehakiman฀RI฀pada฀tanggal฀16฀April฀1999,฀ bentuk฀hukum฀Bank฀Jabar฀diubah฀dari฀PD฀menjadi฀perseroan฀terbatas฀(PT).

Untuk฀ memenuhi฀ permintaan฀ masyarakat฀ akan฀ jasa฀ layanan฀ perbankan฀ yang฀ berlandaskan฀ syariah,฀ sesuai฀ dengan฀ izin฀ BI฀ Nomor฀ 2/18/฀ DpG/DPIP฀ Tanggal฀ 12฀ April฀ 2000,฀ sejak฀ tanggal฀ 15฀ April฀ 2000,฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ menjadi฀ BPD฀ pertama฀ di฀ Indonesia฀ yang฀ menjalankan฀ dual banking system,฀ yaitu฀ memberikan฀ layanan฀ perbankan฀ dengan฀ sistem฀ konvensional฀ dan฀ sistem฀ syariah.

1998, Incorporation Act number 4 dated April 8th, 1999 as well as the Amendment Act Number 8 dated April 15th, 1999 the legal status of Bank Jabar was altered from PD to a limited liability company (PT). And this alteration was ratified by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia on April 16th, 1999

In response to the growing public need for sharia banking services and in conformity with Bank Indonesia license number 2/18/ DpG/DPIP dated April 12th, 2000, since April 15th, 2000 Bank Jabar became the first provincial bank in Indonesia to provide a dual banking system, both conventional and sharia system banking.

The Shareholders meeting (RUPS) dated April 16th, 2001 approved an increase of authorized capital to Rp 1 trillion to enable a higher flexibility in business expansion. Three years later, based on the Shareholders’ meeting on April 14th, 2004 and by the Act number 10th dated April 14, 2004, the authorized capital of Bank Jabar was again increased from Rp 1 trillion to Rp 2 trillion. Taking the Bank’s continuous growth and improved business prospects into account, the Shareholders’ general meeting on April 5th, 2006 decided to double the authorized capital of Bank Jabar from Rp 2 trillion to Rp 4 trillion. In November 2007, following the issuance of Bank Indonesia decree number 9/63/ kep.gbi/2007 the name of Bank Jabar was changed into Bank Jabar Banten, as stipulated in the approval of business license amendment.

Kondisi฀perekonomian฀global฀maupun฀makro฀domestik฀di฀ Indonesia฀pada฀tahun฀2009฀berada฀pada฀tren฀yang฀positif฀ dan฀jauh฀lebih฀baik฀dibanding฀kondisi฀pada฀semester฀ke฀ dua฀tahun฀2008.฀Meskipun฀gejolak฀perekonomian฀global฀ belum฀ sepenuhnya฀ usai,฀ Indonesia฀ telah฀ mencatatkan฀ pertumbuhan฀ekonomi฀sebesar฀4,3%฀di฀tahun฀2009;฀suatu฀ prestasi฀ yang฀ sangat฀ membanggakan฀ mengingat฀ tidak฀ banyak฀negara฀yang฀berhasil฀mencatatkan฀pertumbuhan฀ ekonomi฀yang฀positif฀di฀tahun฀tersebut.฀Bersama฀inlasi฀ yang฀ terjaga฀ serta฀ nilai฀ tukar฀ yang฀ stabil,฀ fundamental฀ ekonomi฀ Indonesia฀ menjadi฀ kondusif฀ berusaha฀ dan฀ berdagang,฀ tidak฀ terkecuali฀ dalam฀ bisnis฀ perbankan.฀ Indikator-indikator฀perbankan฀di฀tahun฀2009฀menunjukkan฀ perkembangan฀ yang฀ positif฀ baik฀ pada฀ sisi฀ pemberian฀ kredit฀maupun฀penggalangan฀dana.฀Ekspansi฀perbankan฀ tersebut฀ berjalan฀ dengan฀ baik฀ karena฀ diimbangi฀ oleh฀ NPL฀ yang฀ masih฀ rendah฀ (3,31%)฀ serta฀ rasio฀ kecukupan฀ permodalan฀(CAR)฀yang฀mencukupi฀(17,42%).

Kondisi฀ yang฀ kondusif฀ tersebut฀ dimanfaatkan฀ oleh฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ untuk฀ berupaya฀ lebih฀ keras฀ untuk฀ meningkatkan฀ kinerjanya.฀ Hal฀ ini฀ tercermin฀ dari฀ digulirkannya฀ berbagai฀ strategi฀ yang฀ menunjang฀ kegiatan฀perbankan฀dalam฀rangka฀meraih฀sasaran฀yang฀ ingin฀ dicapai.฀ Strategi-strategi฀ yang฀ telah฀ dilaksanakan฀ diantaranya฀adalah฀16฀(enam฀belas)฀butir฀terkait฀Kebijakan฀

Dalam฀ prakteknya,฀ strategi฀ dan฀ kebijakan฀ yang฀ telah฀ diambil฀ berjalan฀ dengan฀ baik฀ dan฀ sesuai฀ harapan.฀ Pelaksanaan฀ manajemen฀ perbankan฀ yang฀ dilandasi฀ dengan฀sikap฀yang฀‘prudent’฀dengan฀mempertimbangkan฀ adanya฀risiko฀usaha฀telah฀menyebabkan฀kinerja฀Bank฀Jabar฀ Banten฀ di฀ tahun฀ 2009฀ sangat฀ baik.฀ Hasil฀ pemeriksaan฀ Kantor฀ Akuntan฀ Publik฀ Purwantoko,฀ Sarwoko,฀ dan฀ Sandjaja฀ (Ernst฀ &฀ Young)฀ atas฀ laporan฀ keuangan฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ Tahun฀ Buku฀ 2009,฀ menyatakan฀ Pendapat฀ Wajar฀ Tanpa฀ Pengecualian฀ dalam฀ semua฀ hal฀ yang฀ material฀ sesuai฀ dengan฀ prinsip฀ akuntansi฀ yang฀ berlaku฀ umum฀ di฀ Indonesia.฀ Selain฀ itu,฀ berdasarkan฀ surat฀ Bank฀ Indonesia฀ Nomor฀ 12/11/BD/Rahasia฀ tanggal฀ 21฀ Januari฀ 2010,฀perihal฀Pembinaan฀Terhadap฀Bank,฀menilai฀tingkat฀ kesehatan฀bank฀berdasarkan฀faktor฀CAMEL฀adalah฀‘Baik’฀ dengan฀Peringkat฀Komposit฀2.฀

In 2009,the conditions of global economies and the Indonesian domestic macro economy have shown an upward trend and were much better compared to those in the second half of 2008. Despite the lingering impacts from the global economic turmoil, Indonesia’s economy recorded a growth of 4.3% in 2009; a quite remarkable achievement given the fact that many other economies in the world experienced a contraction in that year. Along with a manageable inflation rate and stable exchange rates, Indonesia’s economy proved to be conducive to business and trade activities, including the banking industry. Indicators in the banking sector in 2009 showed positive developments and growth in terms of loan disbursement as well as fund raising. Expansion in lending and funding was balanced by a relatively low non-performing loan (NPL) rate (3.31%) and sufficiently strong Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of 17.42%.

Taking advantage of the conducive condition, Bank Jabar Banten took extra efforts to improve its performance. A variety of strategies and policies in support of its banking operations were set in place and implemented towards the desired business objectives. Among these are 16 (sixteen) policies concerning General Policies of Management; 6 (six) policies concerning Banks Policies in Business, Services and Loans; 2 (two) policies concerning Bank Policies in Treasury; and 7 (seven) policies concerning Bank Policies on Support Functions.

Oleh฀ karena฀ itu,฀ adalah฀ suatu฀ kehormatan฀ dan฀ kebahagiaan฀ bagi฀ kami,฀ atas฀ nama฀ Dewan฀ Komisaris฀ PT฀ Bank฀ Pembangunan฀ Daerah฀ Jawa฀ Barat฀ dan฀ Banten฀ (“Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten”฀ atau฀ “Perseroan”),฀ untuk฀ menyampaikan฀ hasil-hasil฀ usaha฀ dan฀ perkembangan฀ utama฀ Bank฀ selama฀ tahun฀ yang฀ berakhir฀ 31฀ Desember฀ 2009.

Kondisi฀ fundamental฀ ekonomi฀ yang฀ kondusif,฀ telah฀ dimanfaatkan฀dengan฀baik฀oleh฀Bank฀Jabar฀Banten฀dalam฀ melakukan฀ langkah-langkah฀ ekspansif฀ dan฀ penetratif฀ dengan฀ tetap฀ memperhatikan฀ visi฀ dan฀ misi฀ Perseroan.฀ Penambahan฀kantor-kantor฀cabang฀serta฀produk-produk฀ baru,฀khususnya฀kredit฀untuk฀sektor฀UKM฀telah฀digulirkan.฀ Dengan฀demikian,฀tugas฀ganda฀yang฀diemban฀oleh฀Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ berdasarkan฀ amanat฀ Pemegang฀ Saham,฀ yaitu฀peningkatan฀kinerja฀bank,฀khususnya฀proitabilitas,฀ serta฀mendorong฀perkembangan฀ekonomi฀regional฀dapat฀ terus฀diupayakan.฀

Meskipun฀ tidak฀ spektakuler,฀ pertumbuhan฀ ekonomi฀ Provinsi฀ Jawa฀ Barat฀ di฀ tahun฀ 2009฀ sebesar฀ 4,5%฀ serta฀ Banten฀sebesar฀5,2%฀dapat฀menjadi฀indikasinya.฀Dalam฀ derap฀ langkahnya,฀ praktek฀ perbankan฀ yang฀ semakin฀ ‘prudent’฀yang฀telah฀diterapkan฀Bank฀Jabar฀Banten฀serta฀ kekuatan฀fondasi฀bisnis฀yang฀dimiliki฀Bank฀Jabar฀Banten฀ telah฀ mengantarkan฀ Perseroan฀ maju฀ ke฀ depan฀ secara฀ sinambung฀ dan฀ seimbang.฀ Dalam฀ kaitan฀ ini,฀ Dewan฀ Komisaris฀ mencatat฀ bahwa฀ fondasi฀ bisnis฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀adalah฀kokoh฀dan฀teruji฀dengan฀mampu฀melewati฀ dua฀ gelombang฀ krisis฀ yang฀ terjadi฀ di฀ tahun฀ 1997฀ dan฀ tahun฀2008.

Dalam฀ catatan฀ kami,฀ kemampuan฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ dalam฀menghadapi฀krisis฀telah฀membuktikan฀bahwa฀Bank฀ Jabar฀Banten฀memiliki฀daya฀tahan฀yang฀sangat฀baik฀dalam฀ menghadapi฀peristiwa฀risiko฀(risk event)฀khususnya฀yang฀ berkaitan฀ dengan฀ risiko฀ pasar฀ yang฀ bersifat฀ sistematis฀

(general or systematic market risk).฀

On behalf of the Board of Commissioners of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten (“Bank Jabar Banten” or “the Bank”), I am both proud and pleased to present here the Bank’s results of operations and significant progress that have been made during the period of the year ending 31 December 2009.

Bank Jabar Banten was able to take advantage of the conducive economic condition during the year to both expand and penetrate into new areas while remaining within the stated vision and mission of the Bank. The Bank undertook addition of new branches as well as development of new products, especially loan products to the SME sector. Thus, the bank was able to fulfill the double missions entrusted by its Shareholders, namely to improve its performance and especially its profitability, while also promoting greater growth of the economy in the region.

While admittedly quite modest, economic growth of 4.5% and 5.2% for the provinces of West Java and Banten, respectively, may serve as an indication of our success in this respect. Meanwhile, the increasing emphasis on prudent banking by Bank Jabar banten, coupled with its solid business foundation, have served well to promote continuing and balance progress for the Bank on various areas. The Board of Commissioners would like to note here of the solid and proven business foundation of the Bank that has already survived the pressures from the crises in 1997 and again in 2008.

Hal฀ ini฀ memberikan฀ keyakinan฀ kepada฀ kami,฀ Dewan฀ Komisaris,฀ bahwa฀ upaya-upaya฀ bisnis฀ yang฀ telah฀ dilakukan฀ oleh฀ Manajemen฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ berada฀ pada฀jalur฀yang฀benar.฀Walaupun฀demikian,฀perbaikan฀di฀ segala฀bidang฀masih฀perlu฀terus฀dilakukan,฀kewaspadaan฀ terhadap฀perubahan฀kondisi฀lingkungan฀eksternal฀tetap฀ harus฀ ditingkatkan,฀ sikap฀ berpuas฀ diri฀ perlu฀ dihindari.฀ Dengan฀ dilandasi฀ sikap฀ tersebut,฀ Dewan฀ Komisaris฀ mencatat฀ bahwa฀ Manajemen฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ telah฀ memenuhi฀ sasaran฀ usaha฀ sebagaimana฀ dituangkan฀ dalam฀ Rencana฀ Kerja฀ dan฀ Anggaran฀ Perusahaan฀ 2009฀ yang฀ telah฀ ditetapkan฀ oleh฀ Direksi฀ dan฀ disetujui฀ oleh฀ Dewan฀Komisaris.

Hasil฀ capaian฀ bisnis฀ yang฀ menggembirakan฀ tersebut฀ antara฀lain฀mencakup:

•฀ Aset฀ yang฀ meningkat฀ sebesar฀ 24,46%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀32,41฀triliun

•฀ Laba฀sebelum฀pajak฀yang฀bertambah฀sebesar฀20,32%฀ menjadi฀Rp฀985,38฀miliar

•฀ Penghimpunan฀ dana฀ naik฀ sebesar฀ 24,16%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀27,80฀triliun,฀dan

•฀ Kredit฀ yang฀ diberikan฀ yang฀ berkembang฀ sebesar฀ 19,50%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀ 19,63฀ triliun,฀ sedangkan฀ pembiayaan฀ syariah฀ berkembang฀ sebesar฀ 19,11%฀ menjadi฀Rp฀706,98฀miliar

Capaian-capaian฀ usaha฀ tersebut฀ diraih฀ pada฀ kondisi฀ ekonomi฀ nasional฀ yang฀ relatif฀ membaik.฀ Hal฀ ini฀ diantaranya฀ dapat฀ terlihat฀ dari฀ pertumbuhan฀ PDB฀ nasional฀di฀tahun฀2009฀yang฀mencapai฀4.3%,฀laju฀inlasi฀ sebesar฀5,0฀%,serta฀besarnya฀suku฀bunga฀acuan฀(BI฀rate)฀ yang฀ pada฀ tanggal฀ 31฀ Desember฀ 2009฀ adalah฀ sebesar฀ 6,5%.฀ Prospek฀ bisnis฀ di฀ Tahun฀ 2010฀ dan฀ tahun-tahun฀ sesudahnya฀mengindikasikan฀bahwa฀industri฀perbankan฀ dituntut฀untuk฀semakin฀cerdas,฀prudent,฀dan฀profesional.฀ Hal฀ini฀tak฀lepas฀dari฀kondisi฀eksternal฀yang฀terus฀berubah฀ mencari฀titik฀keseimbangan฀baru,฀khususnya฀dengan฀telah฀ diterapkannya฀ASEAN-China฀Free฀Trade฀Area฀(ACFTA).฀

Thus, the Board of Commissioners is convinced that the Management of Bank Jabar Banten is on the right track with its business strategies. Nevertheless, there is still much to be done: improvements in a variety of aspects; increased vigilance to changes in external business conditions; and most of all, never to rest on our laurels. Within this context, it is the opinion of the Board of Commissioners that the Management of Bank Jabar Banten has been successful in achieving the business objectives as laid out in the 2009 Work Plan and Budget that was established by the Board of Directors and approved by the Board of Commissioners.

Among the more significant of our results of operations were:

•฀ Total฀assets฀increased฀by฀24.46%฀to฀Rp฀32.41฀trillion •฀ Income฀ before฀ taxes฀ increased฀ by฀ 20.32%฀ to฀

Throughout the organization of Bank Jabar Banten, systematic and diligent efforts have been made to anticipate the continuing improvement in the national economy. All personnel at Bank Jabar Banten are in high spirit, full of confidence and optimism in viewing the prospects ahead.

The Board of Commissioners continued to closely monitor ongoing management activities and developments at the Bank in line with the established direction and strategy. In this, the Board is assisted by the various committees under the Board of Commissioners that currently comprise the Audit Committee, the Risk Monitoring Committee, and the Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Each of these Committees in their respective roles and functions plays its part in support of Bank Jabar Banten commitment to uphold the basic principles of Good Corporate Governance, namely transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness.

The Board of Commissioners would like to take this opportunity to extend a sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Board of Directors, employees, customers, and all other stakeholders of Bank Jabar Banten. Kinerja฀ perekonomian฀ Indonesia฀ selama฀ tahun฀ 2009฀ mengindikasikan฀ daya฀ tahan฀ perekonomian฀ domestik฀ yang฀cukup฀baik฀dalam฀merespon฀gejolak฀ekonomi฀global.฀ mencapai฀ 4,3%.฀ Hal฀ ini฀ menjadikan฀ Indonesia฀ sebagai฀ salah฀ satu฀ dari฀ sedikit฀ negara฀ di฀ dunia฀ yang฀ mampu฀ mencapai฀pertumbuhan฀ekonomi฀yang฀positif.

Di฀bidang฀perbankan,฀stabilitas฀sistem฀perbankan฀nasional฀ tetap฀terjaga฀tercermin฀dari฀pencapaian฀rasio฀kecukupan฀ permodalan฀(CAR)฀sebesar฀17,42%,฀LDR฀sebesar฀72,88%,฀ Kualitas฀Kredit฀(NPL)฀sebesar฀3,31%฀,฀pertumbuhan฀dana฀ pihak฀ ketiga฀ sebesar฀ 12,53%฀ dan฀ pertumbuhan฀ kredit฀ sebesar฀9,96%.

Menyikapi฀kondisi฀perekonomian฀dan฀perbankan฀nasional฀ selama฀tahun฀2009,฀maka฀dalam฀rangka฀meningkatkan฀ kinerja฀bank,฀kami฀telah฀mengambil฀strategi฀antara฀lain฀ sebagai฀berikut:

•฀ ฀Meningkatkan฀ fungsi฀ bank฀ sebagai฀ lembaga฀ intermediasi.

•฀ ฀Peningkatan฀Market Share Asset฀terhadap฀perbankan฀ nasional฀dari฀tahun฀sebelumnya.

•฀ ฀Melaksanakan฀ riset฀ dan฀ pengembangan฀ secara฀ berkesinambungan฀terhadap฀bidang฀operasional. •฀ ฀Pengembangan฀ dan฀ evaluasi฀ organisasi,฀ sistem,฀

prosedur,฀ketentuan฀dan฀peraturan.

•฀ ฀Meningkatkan฀ kualitas฀ penerapan฀Good Corporate Governance฀(GCG).

•฀ ฀Memperluas฀ jaringan฀ layanan฀ baik฀ di฀ wilayah฀ Pulau฀ Jawa฀maupun฀di฀luar฀Pulau฀Jawa.฀

Indonesia’s economic performance during 2009 may serve as an example of a resilient domestic economy in the face of global economic turmoil. Indonesia managed to record a positive economic growth despite the lingering impacts of the global economic crisis. This growth is supported by the improving performance in the export sector as the gradually improving global economic conditions encouraged businesses to resume their investments and activities. Thus, the national economy in 2009 grew by 4.3%, making Indonesia as one of the few countries in the world that managed to achieve positive economic growth in that year.

The national banking sector also managed to remain stable, as can be seen from the following banking industry indicators: capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of 17.42%, LDR of 72.88%, non-performing loan (NPL) of 3.31%, growth of third-party funds of 12.53%, and growth of loans of 9.96%.

Responding to ongoing developments in the national economy and banking sector in 2009, the Board of Directors decided on the following initiatives and objectives to improve the performance of the Bank:

national banking sector from last year’s level

•฀ Conducting฀ continuing฀ research฀ and฀ development฀

programs in operational areas

•฀ Developing฀and฀evaluating฀the฀organization฀structure,฀

systems, procedures, rules and regulations

•฀ Improving฀the฀quality฀of฀Good฀Corporate฀Governance฀ information technology to ensure high-quality services in order to improve the Bank’s competitive advantages and corporate image

•฀ Strengthening฀the฀Bank’s฀capital฀structure

•฀ Improving฀the฀quality฀and฀quantity฀of฀human฀resources฀

possessing integrity, dedication and competence

•฀ Improving฀the฀effectiveness฀and฀eficency฀of฀banking฀

KINERJA KEUANGAN

Melalui฀ inisiatif฀ strategi฀ tersebut,฀ dalam฀ menghadapi฀ kondisi฀ perekonomian฀ dan฀ perbankan฀ tahun฀ 2009,฀ kinerja฀Bank฀Jabar฀Banten฀menunjukkan฀perkembangan฀ yang฀baik,฀secara฀garis฀besar฀dapat฀disampaikan฀sebagai฀ berikut:

Total฀ asset฀ tumbuh฀ sebesar฀ 24,46%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀ 32,41฀ triliun฀dari฀Rp฀26,04฀triliun฀pada฀tahun฀2008.

Disaat฀kondisi฀keuangan฀global฀belum฀pulih,฀penempatan฀ dana฀ di฀ perbankan฀ menjadi฀ pilihan฀ yang฀ aman,฀ hal฀ tersebut฀ berpengaruh฀ pada฀ pertumbuhan฀ simpanan฀ dana฀ pihak฀ ketiga฀ sebesar฀ 29,28%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀ 23,72฀ triliun฀dari฀Rp฀18,35฀triliun฀pada฀tahun฀2008.

Ditengah฀ belum฀ optimalnya฀ fungsi฀ intermediasi฀ bank,฀ penyaluran฀ kredit฀ tumbuh฀ 19,50%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀ 19,63฀ triliun฀dari฀Rp฀16,43฀triliun฀pada฀tahun฀2008,฀yang฀diikuti฀ oleh฀peningkatan฀komposisi฀penyaluran฀kredit฀produktif฀ dan฀konsumsi฀yaitu฀menjadi฀24,70%฀berbanding฀75,30%.฀ Apabila฀memperhitungkan฀fasilitas฀kredit฀produktif฀yang฀ belum฀ ditarik฀ maka฀ komposisi฀ kredit฀ produktif฀ dan฀ konsumtif฀mencapai฀31,55%฀berbanding฀68,45%.

Laba฀ sebelum฀ pajak฀ 2009฀ tumbuh฀ sebesar฀ 20,32%฀ menjadi฀ Rp฀ 985,38฀ miliar฀ dari฀ Rp818,95฀ miliar฀ pada฀ tahun฀2008.

Dari฀ sisi฀ rasio฀ permodalan,฀ maka฀ Bank฀ Jabar฀ Banten฀ dengan฀ rasio฀ sebesar฀ 21,20%฀ masih฀ diatas฀ rasio฀ permodalan฀ perbankan฀ nasional฀ dan฀ jauh฀ melebihi฀ persyaratan฀minimum฀sebesar฀8%.

PENINGKATAN KUALITAS LAYANAN

Dalam฀ rangka฀ mewujudkan฀ komitmen฀ untuk฀ meningkatkan฀ layanan฀ yang฀ aman,฀ mudah,฀ cepat฀ dan฀ nyaman,฀ kami฀ melaksanakan฀ perluasan฀ jaringan฀ kantor฀ diantaranya฀ dengan฀ pembukaan฀ cabang฀ di฀ luar฀ Pulau฀ Jawa฀yaitu฀di฀kota฀Batam฀dan฀Medan.

FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

Through the implementation of those initiatives in response to ongoing conditions in the economy and the banking sector in 2009, Bank Jabar Banten have achieved satisfactory progress and results, as outlined in the following.

Total assets grew by 24.46% to Rp 32.41 trillion from Rp 26.04 trillion in 2008.

With the preference for bank deposits as a safer option in times of instability in global financial conditions, third party funds increased by 29.28% to Rp 23.72 trillion from Rp 18.35 trillion in 2008.

Amidst non-optimum bank financial intermediary function, loan disbursement grew by 19.50% to Rp 19.63 trillion from Rp 16.43 trillion in 2008. This was accompanied by an improvement in the composition of loans for productive and consumptive purposes of 24.70% and 75.30%, respectively. Including un-drawn productive loan facilities, the composition of productive and consumptive loans were 31.55% and 68.45%, respectively.

Income before taxes grew by 20.32% to Rp 985.38 billion from Rp 818.95 billion in 2008.

In terms of capital adequacy, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of Bank Jabar Banten of 21.20% was higher than the national average and far above the minimum requirement of 8%.
