An instrument can be understood as a research tool that will be used in each method. Instrument calibration will be used to know the validity and degree of reality of the instrument. Validity refers to the degree to which a test measures what it is supposed to measure and consequently allows an appropriate interpretation of the result.44 Therefore, we can conclude that validity will be used to obtain accurate data that is of good quality.
The writer will use content validity to know the relevance of the test and how the test examples are tested. The writer uses validity based on the syllabus and materials of the Second Semester English Teaching Study Proposal. Reliability is the extent to which a test consistently measures what it measures.45 In other words, it can be said to be a reliable test.
