Abstract

Introduction: Aim of this research was the investigated of 8 week moderate aerobic exercise on Serum concentration of Paraoxonase-1 and Lipid Profile in middle-aged untrained men.

Methods: Statistical population this study was formed by untrained the middle-aged men of Ahar city. 20 of the volunteers were selected for the study and were divided into control and experimental groups. Paraoxonase-1 and Lipid Profile concentration Measured in basal state.

Then, experimental group’s participated in 8 week aerobic moderate exercise (three sessions per week). The control group was prevented from participating in regular physical activity.

After 8 week blood sample were taken both groups.

1 Paraoxonase-1 (PON1)

ﯽﺷزرو ﻪﯾﺬﻐﺗ و يژﻮﻟﻮﯾﺰﯿﻓ

Result: Statically analyze of this study was showed a significant reduction of TG and LDL and significant increases of HDL and PON1 in experimental group (P≤0.05). Also, experimental group compared with control group had a high level of HDL and PON1 and lower level of TG and LDL (P≤0.05).

Conclusion: 8 week aerobic moderate exercise via increases of HDL and PON1 concentration can lead to reduce of oxidative stress in untrained men.

Abstract

The aim of the present research is to study the effects of steroids abuse over blood factors in athletes of bodybuilding field. the present investigation is post event and involves 48 sportsmen in the field of bodybuilding (age 25.02 ± 4.73 years old)They are divided into three groups involving sportsmen consuming steroid (n1 = 16), sportsmen having a record and three months out of consumption (n2 = 16), and sportsmen having no record of consuming steroid (n3 = 16). After measuring anthropometric and 1RM, blood samples were taken 12 hours before breakfast. The results showed that there were significant differences between the first and third groups at the rate of red blood cells but between the second and third groups significant differences were not observed. In relationship with hemoglobin there were significant differences between the first group and the other groups, but this difference wasn’t observed between the second and third groups. There were also significant differences between all case study groups in relationship with hematocrit. Using steroids effects on

blood factors and it takes more than three months for these factors to their primary state.
