GOD’S WORDS FOR TODAY (Mt. 9:35-10:1,6-8) The Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity. "Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And preach as you go, saying, `The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without pay.

REFLECTION:

Who doesn't want a life of good health, peace, and well-being? Isaiah foretold that God's kingdom would overcome sorrow and adversity and bring true peace and prosperity to God's people. Jesus understood his mission to bring the kingdom in all its fullness to us. The core of the Gospel message is quite simple: the kingdom or reign of God is imminent!

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, give me boldness to live and proclaim the message of the kingdom of heaven and to be a prophetic sign of that kingdom to this generation. Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

Asian MathSci League, Inc. (AMSLI) is a non-stock non-profit organization of math and science enthusiasts registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission last April 2017. It has been incorporated with the following objectives:

1. To establish a world class academic organization aimed to develop and improve mathematics and science skills of Filipino teachers and students through mentoring, scholarships and various activities connected therewith;

2. To inculcate, promote, foster and develop interest and awareness among the Filipino teachers and students about international math and science activities such as competitions, educational programs, enrichment workshops, conferences, courses and training programs, exhibits and seminars and other related events;

3. To promote math and science competitions here in the Philippines and/or outside the

In line with this, we would like to invite Grades 3 to 10 students who are interested and would like to develop their skills and potentials in Science. AMSLI-ASEP qualifying exam will be on January 25, 2020 (9:00 am at HLS Building LS101-108) at De La Salle Lipa. AMSLI-ASEP is charging a minimal fee of Php50.00 to cover the expenses for testing materials.

Students who are interested, please register and give your payment to your respective GS/JHS Science teachers. For all 2019 ASEP ACHIEVERS and VANDA medalist, you are all qualified for the ASEP Training. The 10 Saturday training will be on February to April 2020.

1. It is with great pleasure and pride to commend Grade 7 class LS 102 of Ms. Ellen Tapalla for consistently and tirelessly leaving their classroom tidy and clean every afternoon after class for the past two quarters. This very positive report was given to our office by our security personnel who used to make rounds every afternoon to check on all the classrooms. May your class serve as an example for others to emulate. May you never get weary of doing your part in keeping your second home a pleasant place to stay in. Kudos to all of you and keep it up!
