INVITATION TO BID

A. The MSU­ Iligan Institute of Technology through its Bids and Awards Committee invites        interested suppliers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : Supply of Labor and Materials for use in:

A. Proposed MSU­IIT Community Based Multi Species Fish Hatchery located at Hinaplanon property B. Construction of Laundry area of the Graduate

School Dormitory, MSU­IIT Campus

Location : MSU­Iligan Institute of Technology

Approved Budget : PhP1,354,720.00

Source of Fund : TRUST / INCOME

Delivery Period : Thirty (30) days upon receipt of P.O.

Non­refundable Bidder Fee : 0.002 of the Approved Budget Cost

LOT 1

Supply of labor and materials in the proposed MSU­IIT Community based multi species fish Hatchery located at Hinaplanon property.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Earthworks which includes excavation, backfilling etc.

2. Includes concrete works, masonry works, mixed with sahara powder, painted with        flexibond and filling with gravel bed.

3. Fabrication and installation of trusses with tarpaulin roof.

4. Installation of pipes for drain tank.

5. Clearing of areas after the construction.

(please see attached sketch plan)       Note:

1. Actual site inspection is highly recommended to get the actual measurements and totality        of work.

2. Secure inspection certificate from PPD, MSU­IIT.

3. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment,        technical know­how, supervision and transportation necessary to complete the project.

4. Submit quotation to include: detailed bill of materials & total cost       ;detailed labor cost &     

no. of days to complete

5. Coordinate with PPD before the start of the project.

6. Have filed Accreditation from MSU­IIT Procurement Office.

ABC for Lot 1

Supply of Labor and materials in the construction of laundry area of the Graduate School        Dormitory, MSU­IIT  Campus:

      SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Earthworks – includes excavation, backfilling etc.

2. Includes masonry works, concrete works & finishing works.

● Footings, columns, foundations, walls

3. Includes steelworks: windows grills

4. Includes roofing works:

● Steel rafter, purlins, ga. 4mm rib type beige color roofing

● Gutter, fascia, flashing, gutter support

5. Includes installation of hardilite ceiling board on 3.5mm light metal frames

● Includes painting

6. Includes painting works. (coordinate with PPD as to color)

7. Installation of plumbing fixtures and its accessories including downspout, sewage line,        water line and drainage.

8. Includes tiling works:

● Includes installation of 400mm x 400mm non­skid ceramics tiles, white

● Installation of 200mm x 200mm ceramics tiles, sky blue

9. Includes installation of electrical fixtures including its accessories and wirings.

10.Clearing of area after the construction.

(please see attached sketch plan) TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Inspection of the actual site of installation is highly recommended to get actual        measurements and totality of work.

2. Secure site inspection certificate from MSU­IIT PPD Office.

3. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment,        technical know­how, supervision and necessary to complete the project.

4. Submit quotation to include: detailed bill of material and total cost; detailed labor cost &

No. of days to complete.

5. Coordinate with PPD before the  contractor starts the project.

6. PPD to inspect & monitor from time to time the accomplishment.

7. Have filed accreditation from MSU­IIT procurement Office.

ABC for Lot 2

………..PhP334,720.00 B. Secure Checklist of bidding documents from the BAC Secretariat Office after payment of the       

non­refundable bidder’s fee. Accomplish the duly certified requirements in three (3) copies,        and submit the same at the BAC Secretariat Office on or before the deadline set.

Notice of Award

D. The MSU­IIT reserves the right to review the qualifications of a selected bidder, subject to technical                                and production criteria, reject any or all bids, waive any formality or defect therein and accept the offer                                  considered most advantageous to MSU­IIT.

E. Bidders should have completed, within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a                                  contract similar to the Project, and equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC (For the                                  procurement of Non­expendable Supplies), Or contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at                            least twenty­five percent (25%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Expendable Supplies).

F. The MSU­IIT reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject                                      all Bids at any time prior to contract awards without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder                                  or Bidders.
