5.3.2 Saran teoritis

1. Tidak hanya tes psikologi yang akan digunakan untuk pengambilan keputusan tentang individu seperti tes CFIT, tes psikologi lain (kuesioner, instrumen) yang digunakan untuk meneliti hubungan sebab akibat antar variabel sangat perlu untuk diuji measurement invariance. Hal ini penting diuji agar tidak terjadi kesalahan interpretasi dalam menerjemahkan hasil penelitian. Jika alat tes yang dipakai tidak memenuhi situasi measurement invariance, maka hasil penelitian tersebut akan tidak bermakna atau yang lebih berbahaya adalah menyesatkan. Sehingga diharapkan penelitian ilmiah di ilmu psikologi baik skripsi, thesis dan disertasi sudah mulai melakukan uji measurement invariance pada setiap instrumen penelitiannya.

2. Diharapkan pada penelitian selanjutnya, dilakukan uji validitas measurement invariance pada tes inteligensi CFIT menggunakan pendekatan item response theory (IRT). Hal ini perlu dilakukan sebagai metode pembanding dari pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Sehingga di masa yang akan datang akan didapatkan hasil yang lebih meyakinkan dan mendalam tentang kesahihan dari tes inteligensi CFIT.

3. Pada penelitian selanjutnya disarankan agar dilakukan penelitian yang mendalam tentang structural invariance, seperti factor variance invariance, factor covariance invariance dan latent mean structure. Hal ini penting untuk dilakukan agar penelitian tentang tes inteligensi CFIT

tidak berhenti sampai measurement invariance saja. Sehingga dapat membuka pemahaman baru untuk pengguna tes dan ilmuan tentang validitas tes inteligensi CFIT.
