ANALISIS FAKTOR KEMAMPUAN
PERENCANAAN KARIER SISWA SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas tentang
seberapa tinggi persentase masing-masing faktor kemampuan perencanaan karier
siswa kelas XII SMA Pangudi Luhur Sedayu Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 dan
seberapa tinggi tingkat kemampuan perencanaan karier Siswa kelas XII SMA dan
Item-item instrumen perencanaan karier mana saja yang teridentifikasi perolehan
skornya rendah sebagai dasar penyusunan topik-topik bimbingan karier bagi siswa
SMA.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada
penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi kelas XII SMA Pangudi Luhur Sedayu
yang berjumlah 104 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner.
Uji instrumen berupa uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data yang
digunakan adalah teknik kategorisasi jenjang ordinal.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis
persentase masing-masing faktor kemampuan perencanaan karier yang paling
tinggi yaitu faktor internal sebanyak 77,36%, (2) Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis
sub faktor kemampuan internal yang paling tinggi yaitu pengetahuan sebanyak
27,54%, (3) Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis sub faktor kemampuan eksternal yang
paling tinggi yaitu tuntutan yang melekat pada masing-masing jabatan dan
program studi sebanyak 19,04%, (4) Sebanyak 100 siswa (96,15%) tergolong
dalam kategori sangat tinggi dalam arti siswa SMA sangat mampu dalam
merencanakan karier, (5) Sebanyak 4 siswa (3,84%) tergolong dalam kategori
tinggi dalam arti siswa SMA mampu dalam merencanakan karier, (6) Berdasarkan
analisis terhadap hasil uji butir-butir item perencanaan karier siswa kelas XII
SMA Pangudi Luhur Sedayu Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 teridentifikasi dalam
kategori rendah sebanyak 5 item sebagai dasar penyusunan topik-topik Bimbingan
Karier siswa SMA.

This research is intended to obtain an understanding about the factors
regarding and the ability of career planning for students of Pangudi Luhur Sedayu
Senior High School Grade 12 Year 2016/2017. The items of career planning with
low score will be the base in formulating the topics of career counseling for the
students.
This research is a quantitative descriptive research with 104 students of
Pangudi Luhur Sedayu Senior High School Grade 12 Year 2016/2017 as the
subject. The data is gathered using questionnaire. The instruments are tested
through reliability and validity test. The analysis technique is an ordinal level
categorization.
The result shows that 1) The highest percentage of career planning factor
is internal factor with 77.36%. 2) The highest percentage of internal sub factor
analysis is on cognitive level with 27.54%. 3) The highest percentage of external
sub factor analysis is on obligation level on each study program and the related
position with 27.54%. 4) 100 students (96.15%) are considered as highly capable
in determining their career. 5) 4 students (3.84%) are considered as able in
determining their career. 6) Based on the analysis of the items regarding the
ability of career planning for students of Pangudi Luhur Sedayu Senior High
School Grade 12 Year 2016/2017, there are 5 items considered as low level in
regards with the Career Planning Topics formulation for the students.
