Aterosklerosis adalah merupakan gangguan pembuluh darah dijantung
yang akan dapat berakibat fatal pada penderitanya. Oleh karena itu,
pencegahan terhadap terjadi dan berkembangnya aterosklerosis
merupakan hal yang penting.
Buncis yang sudah dikenal sebagai sayuran yang sering dikonsumsi
sehari-hari,
diyakini
mempunyai
efek
yang
dapat
mencegah
berkembangnya proses pengerasan dinding pembuluh darah. Sehingga
tujuan penelitian ini selain untuk mengetahui keberadaan gen LOX-1
3‟UTR188CT, juga untuk mendapatkan efek pencegahan dari buncis
terhadap berkembangnya proses tersebut. Manfaat bagi peserta adalah
selain dapat mengetahui parameter laboratorium juga dapat mengetahui
efek baik buncis.
Adapun proses penelitian yang Bapak/Ibu/Sdr/i akan ikuti dalam penelitian
1. Pengambilan darah dengan menggunakan jarum suntik sebanyak
10 cc (1 jarum suntik 10 cc penuh)
2. Tujuan pengambilan darah adalah untuk melakukan pemeriksaan
profil lemak, kadar OxLDL dan polimorfisme
gen 3‟UTR188CT
3. Pengambilan darah akan dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali, yaitu periode
sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan
4. Darah yang diambil akan diperiksa pada Laboratorium Klinik
Prodia Medan dan Eijkman Institute, Jakarta.
Sebagai informasi, efek sampng pengambilan darah hampir tidak ada
karena dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur pengambilan darah yang steril.
Jika Bapak/Ibu/Sdr/i mengalami efek samping seperti pembengkakan di
daerah tempat pengambilan darah, maka peneliti wajib memberikan
pengobatan yaitu dengan menekan dan mengompres dengan kain kasa
yang telah dibasahi oleh alkohol 70%.
Partisipasi Bapak/Ibu/Sdr/i bersifat suka rela dan tanpa paksaan. Setiap
data yang ada dalam penelitian ini dirahasiakan dan digunakan untuk
kepentingan penelitian. Untuk mengikuti penelitian ini Bapak/Ibu/Sdr/i
tidak akan dipungut biaya apapun.
Bila Bapak/Ibu/Sdr/i bersedia untuk menjadi subyek penelitian, mohon
untuk mengisi dan menandatangani lembar persetujuan yang telah kami
sediakan.
