ABSTRACT
THE EFFECT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF EMPLOYEES PERFORMANCE PT PLN ( Persero ) GENERATION
THE NORTH SUMATRA
The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the effect on the performance of education and training of employees of PT PLN (Persero) generation of Northern Sumatra. This research is a study explanation. The population in this study were all PT PLN (Persero) generation of Northern Sumatra, amounting to 114 men and 54 employees were sampled. Methods of data collection in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. Methods of data analysis using descriptive methods, simple linear regression analysis and testing of the coefficient of determination (R ²). The results showed that the variables of education and training has a positive and significant impact on the performance of employees at PT PLN ( Persero) generation of Northern Sumatra. It can be seen from tcount positive and significant effect. Hypothesis H1 is accepted, because tcount > ttable showed a positive and significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of indicates that the variable can be explained by the performance of employees and education. While the remaining can be explained by other factors not examined.
