DECREE OF MINISTER OF FINANCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
NUMBER 154/KMK.01/2004 DATED 24 MARCH2004 REGARDING
CUSTOM EXEMPTION ON HOT ROLLED COIL (HRC), PLATE STEEL, AND COLD ROLLED COIL (CRC) IMPORT
MINISTER OF FINANCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Considering:
a. Steel based national industry is currently suffering shortage of raw material that may threaten economic recovery of the country.
b. That in an effort to support the development of steel based national industry it is deemed necessary to temporarily provide custom exemption on hot rolled coil (HRC), plate steel and cold rolled coil (CRC). c. That based on the afro-mentioned point a and b, it is deemed necessary to stipulate Decree of Minister of Finance regarding custom exemption on hot rolled coil (HRC), plate steel and cold rolled coil (CRC).
In view:
1. Law Number 7 Year 1994 regarding stipulation of Agreement Establishing The World Trade Organization (LN RI Year 1994 Number 57, TLN RI Number 3564);
2. Law Number 10 Year 1995 regarding Custom Provision (LN RI Year 1995 Number 75, TLN RI Number 3612);
3. Presidential Decree Number 228/M Year 2001;
4. Decree of Finance Minister Number 378/KMK.01/1996 regarding Schedule of Custom Tariff Reduction;
5. Decree of Finance Minister Number 547/KMK.01/2003 regarding provision on Custom on Imported Goods;
Considering:
1. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 159/MPP/II/2004 dated 17 February 2004 and Number 181/MPP/III/2004 dated 4 March 2004.
DECIDE Stipulate:
DECREE OF MINISTER OF FINANCE REGARDING CUSTOM EXEMPTION ON IMPORTED HOT ROLLED COIL (HRC), PLATE STEEL, AND COLD ROLLED COIL (CRC).
Article 1
It is hereby granted custom exemption on Hot Rolled Coil (HRC), Plate Steel and Cold Rolled Coil (CRC) as mentioned in the Tariff Post stated in the appendix of this decree so that the final tariff shall be 0% (Zero percent).

Director General of Custom and Excise shall implement provision of this decree
Article 4
This decree shall come into effect on the date of stipulation.
To the extent of anybody be aware of it, order to announce this Decree by registering it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
