KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICES AND ATTITUDE ON OBESITY CONTROL OF THE PUPILS IN NGO SY LIEN SECONDARY SCHOOL, HOAN KIEM
DISTRICT, HANOI
This study was to assess knowledge, practices and attitude on overweight and obesity of the pupils in Ngo Sy Lien secondary school, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. Results showed that the pro- portion of pupils had knowledge on causes of obesity was 86.9%, a consequence of obesity was 82.9%, control method of obesity was 83,7%. The feeling of pupils when suffered from obesity (sad, ashamed...) accounted 73.1% and attitude for your friends with obesity (funny, don't care...) were 7 ^%. The rate of the pupils played computer games was 52.9%. The proportion of pupils had snack at night was 21.1%, drinking beverage 2 - 3 box/week was 26.7% and 3 - 4 box/
week was 14.7%. In conclusion, knowledge of the pupils on obesity vvere quite good, however practices of the pupils on obesity could not acceptable. These findings may provide basic data for dieticians in order to develop effective nutrition interventions for sehool pupils.

Summary
SOME MORPHOLOGICAL CRITERIA OF PEOPLE LIVING IN HANOI
Hanoi Health Service Department have coordinated with Hanoi Medical University to conduct a sen/ey on biological criteria of people living in Hanoi in 2010. The study aims was to evaluate some morphological criteria of people living in Hanoi in 2010. The study was carried out in 2 urban district (Hoankiem. Dongda) and 2 suburban district (Ba Vi, My Due) on 15.015 ordinary people, including 6917 men (46.1%) and 8098 women (53.9%), from 6 years of age. The morpho- logical criteria were determined by anthropometric measurements according to international stan- dards. These initial results showed that the development of morphological indicators in compari- son with those over the last years of the twentieth century could be associated with the develop- ment of economy and society.
