The study aims to assess the impact of the motivations and barriers to scientific productivity of lecturers in economics universities in Vietnam. The results show that their scientific productivity is influencedby Passionfor research. Academic pursuit. Facility barriers and Research pressure.
From this finding, a number of useful suggestions are proposed for economics universities to promote research activities and increase scientific productivity of lecturers.
