OBJECTIVE : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to; 1. Talk about related topics with guidance.

2. Listen to and demonstrate understanding of oral texts by predicting with guidance.

ACTIVITY : 1. Ask pupils who is Hang Tuah, Hang Lekir, Hang lekiu, Hang Jebat?  Talk briefly about them.

Let’s Talk ( page 73) 1.Classroom discussion:

Building up vocabulary ( based on the text) 1. Teacher directs pupils to read the text.( page 76) 2. Underline Words/phrases/idioms

 Examples: king, died, son, death, locked, refused, worried, investigate, hypnotise.etc

3.Discuss the meaning of each words/idioms/phrases  Dictionary Skills

4. Pronunciation Drilling Let’s read and answer

1. Teacher refers to text ( page 76)

 Teacher reads the text and asks pupils to listen to the pronunciation.  Direct pupils to read the text.

2. Guide pupils how to answer the comprehension questions.  Find the keywords in the questions.

 Underline them.

 Find the keywords in the text and read the information given in the sentence.  Always check all the possible answers before choosing one.
