Based on the results of interviews with workers in plantations and mills as well as administrators of the All-Indonesian Workers Union, it is known that there has never been an incident of forced labor in the period 2021/2022. MSJA
Socialization with the surrounding community from Tri Tunggal Jaya village on March 15, 2022, which was attended by 3 participants. Moreover, the company also established and developed Masyarakat Siaga Api (MSA) as a testament to stakeholders. This incorporation took place on November 10, 2021 and was participated by surrounding communities, including representatives from Sidomukti village, Sidoharjo, Talang Batu, Tritunggal Jaya, Wiratama, Bandar Aji Jaya, etc.
On the basis of interview results with several workers, trade unions, local representatives, it was known that the company has widespread information about bans on burning and efforts to prevent forest fires on a regular basis, in addition to warning signs being set up in strategic locations. Clearing land does not cause deforestation or damage any area needed to protect or enhance High Conservation Values (HCVs) or High Carbon Stock (HCS) forests. HCV assessment of PT SIP is carried out by environmental department staff in PT SMART from 8 June 2010 to 10 November 2011, with completion of the report in December 2011.
An expert review of the report was carried out by the independent consultant Resit Sözer in December 2010, and a public consultation was held on 10 November 2011, attended by 51 stakeholders.
