Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification
The company has a mechanism to identify and evaluate the compliance with the law described in the SOP of Law Terms. The company has list of regulation consist of international regulation, national regulation, regional regulation and local regulation. Evaluation is done periodically at least 6 months and in monthly meeting its fulfillment has been reviewed and evaluated, the latest audit for the legal compliance conducted on June 2017 and latest updating in 10 July 2017, audit result shows that the company has been implementing the regulation which relevant to its operational activities.

All rules are noted in the list of rules which is always regularly evaluated at least once a year or if there are legal/latest requirements referenced by the legal team. On the basis of the interviews with relevant bodies (Plantagestyrelsen, Arbejdstyrelsen and the Environment Agency), it was known that the administrative unit has fulfilled the rules regarding the plantation, employment and the environment. The company has identified the water sources included in the HCV area identification documents and the SEIA documents. In addition, the company has constructed water bodies to collect rainwater in low-lying areas as a water source in case of a long dry season. The company has a mechanism to prevent pests and diseases through the Early Warning System/EWS, which was implemented by field personnel.
Based on field observation, it is known that the company provided facilities for chemical mixing, cleaning/washing after work and space for PPE storage in each estate Sungai Pinang and Bukit Pinang Estate. For example, the last control carried out in April 2017 as many as 22 pesticide operators in SPE and 9 people in BPE. The policy has referred to the applied national regulation on protected species. Based on field visits in harvesting, spraying, Sungai Pinang Factory and employee list, there is no discrimination among employees. There is no harassment or abuse in the workplace and reproductive rights are protected. The company has a Memorandum of Chairman SOU 22 employees related to the treatment of pregnant and lactating women was circulated throughout the operating unit's management.
The company unit worked with local contractors, the contract signed by both parties is available as agreement letter no: 009/Replanting/BSC-SPE/VIII/2016 dated 01 August 2016 for the replanting activity. According to interviews with contractors, it shows that the company has paid every month (as agreed) and there have never been any delays. The company has a CSR program and this program is developed referring to the activity proposal given to the company by the local community/villages.
The company has a policy related to the protection of human rights in the form of a memorandum of respect for human rights policy Number: ist/int/ VI/ 2015, dated 25 June 2015. There is socialization of human rights which was held on 25 April 2017 for employees in BPE. The company did not replant after November 2005, and the replanting was started in 2010, and the company has completed the SEIA for social impact of the replanting activity of Aksenta.
SEIA focuses on the environmental impacts of replanting that impact the surrounding community, including the company employee and employment opportunities for local people.

The company is committed to open land without burning (zero burning) during land clearing as defined in the environmental protection policy on April 30, 2013 and described in the SOP Agronomy Reference Manual for palm oil planting on September 1, 2013. Based in the field visits to the replanted areas, no replanting activity was found with the burning method. The company did not carry out new plantings after November 2005 and replanting began in 2010.

The company has followed the RSPO requirement regarding the new planting procedure and the remediation and compensation procedure. The company always pays employees' wages in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Company has shown evidence of improvements in the form of an explanatory document for BPE's contract.
Employees of the company have formed a union and are listed in the Department of Employment.
