For the smallholder scheme of Amarta Jaya Plasma, the land ownership status of the smallholder scheme is individual land title certificate (SHM) issued by the government program namely "transmigration program" since 1991.
Based on document verifications, the certificate holder has carried out fertilization with inorganic fertilizers, POME and FFB mulching. The certificate holder has routinely monitored the changes in nutrient status based on the regular Soil Sampling Unit (SSU) and Leaf Sampling Unit (LSU) analysis to determine fertilizer recommendation. Based on field observation and document review, it is known that POME land application, EFB mulching application and oil palm trunk chipping have been carried out in accordance with the procedure.
Meanwhile on AJYP, based on semi-detail soil surveys of PMNP 2017, and based on soil map with scale, it is known that there is no peat soil at AJYP area. Based on field observation on blocks visited during audit, the topography was generally relatively flat.

Field visits to the mill showed that the husk and fiber have been used as boiler fuel, therefore reducing the use of diesel fuel for electricity. Effluent has also been monitored monthly and the July-September 2019 monitoring period showed that all effluent test parameters are in compliance with the standard quality (see indicator 4.4.3). Meanwhile, the company also conducts regular emission test for semester basis, test results from 1st semester 2019 indicate that boiler emission for examples have been met with standard quality.
Monitoring of emissions and pollutants (air emission, air environment, odor, noise and vibration) from estate and factory was carried out periodically every 6 months. The test result of the first semester of 2019 indicates that all parameters related to emissions still meet the standard quality, except noise level. The monitoring was carried out to evaluate the management plan implemented by the management unit.

The company has fulfilled the development of plasma plantations in accordance with the SK CPCL (Decree of Potential Small Farmers) of the Regent. There were no problems or events related to environmental pollution that occurred in the company's area. The company has implemented rules on minimum wage, overtime payment and has a collective agreement according to the authorities' rules, this is further explained in indicators 6.5.1 and 6.5.2.
During the past year, there were no issues related to human rights violations, sexual harassment, child labor and discrimination occurring in the company's scope of operations. Payment for completion of work is made on time by the company in accordance with what is written in the employment agreement. The Company has implemented minimum wages and other labor regulations in accordance with applicable regulations and is explained in the 2.1.1 and 6.5.1 indicators.
