Die uiteindelike doel van die studie was om kennis en insig te verkry van die klasklimaat in LO- klasse. Die belangrikheid van 'n positiewe klasklimaat het telkens in hierdie studie na vore getree. Alhoewel dit blyk dat daar oor die algemeen 'n gunstige klimaat heers in die ondersoekgroep se LO-klasse, het die studie uitgewys dat daar nog baie gedoen (en nagevors) kan word om die LO-onderwyser as klimaatskepper te bekwaam.
