The total management unit in Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd consists of 34 in Malaysia, 25 in Indonesia and 1 in Liberia. Preparations to undergo the RSPO certification process are underway and Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd aims to undergo RSPO certification by the end of 2017. There was a change to the time-bound plan under Sime Darby on April 15, 2016, which caused Sime Darby to postpone the other certification process.

ASSESSMENT FINDINGS
Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification
The on-site PIC is the operations manager, in coordination with the head of the other department. The deadline for responding to the request for information is 14 days before receiving the incoming letter. Based on the site visit and interview at Betung Factory showed that the weighbridge ticket and FFB delivery note have stamped "RSPO CERTIFIED" as a unique code. The site will verify and document the volumes of certified and non-certified FFBs received. The Betung factory had a procedure for SCCS that describes the provision of information to CB if there is excess production of RSPO certified products.
The site will record and balance all receipts of RSPO certified FFB and deliveries of RSPO certified CPO and PK on a quarterly basis. Betung Factory has registered the entire RSPO certified FFB entering the factory and the deliveries of RSPO certified products (CSPO and CSPK). The site will ensure and verify through documented procedures and registration that the RSPO certified oil palm product is kept separate from non-certified material, including during transport and storage.
Betung Factory, PT LMI only processes FFB from RSPO certified estate, and then the whole product is CSPO and CSPK.

Preparation to undergo the RSPO certification process is ongoing and SDP targets to undergo RSPO certification by the end of 2017. Internal assessment against the draft Liberia NI has been completed and closing of gaps is ongoing. CH has a documented tillage and clearing record in the form of a heavy equipment rental agreement letter and a heavy equipment usage summary.
